One beginner question please, Thanks!

Hi guys, I just got my first VV/VW mod SmockTech SID
I bought it with a Efest IMR 18650 2000mAh - flat top battery
It's pretty hard to put the battery in the device. I need to push pretty hard to make it fit in.
Is it normal? Is it going to hurt the device??

I would not force a battery into it. Check the size of the efest battery. And then the size recommended, in link below.

Google it or go to site where you bought it. It should show the dimensions.



From what I can gather there can be a difference in length as shown here.

This one being the longer one.

The SID should use the shorter one with dimensions at (18mm x 65mm )

Yes I am using this one Efest IMR 18650 2000mAh Flat Top 3.7V Rechargeable LiMn Battery
I bought this because they recommend it LOL!

Then I would let them know they sent you the wrong one and ask for an exchange. If you read their website when ordering the SID they tell you to click on the battery option because buying outside of that particular page you won't get the ones that fit.
