I would also suggest that if you buy either a vamo or svd that you go with fasttech.com their return for exchange warranty is 6 months outside of buying a provari that's the best warranty you're likely to get.
Bought an SVD last weekend from FT, along with a nitecore charger and 2 18650 panasonic batteries...still waiting should be here Monday...but I chose the SVD over the vamo 3 , mainly for the coolness looking factor. Cringey I know lol.

I love my Vamo V3 even though every one says its ugly the swirls are not as bad in person. It does have a removable drip well unlike the other Vamo versions. I also second the Itaste MVP V2 for ease of use and a 2600mah internal battery plus box mods just look cool. My vamo battery does not wiggle in 18350,18650,or in stacked 18350 mode.

I bought the vamo v2 and the itaste 3.0 as a backup. When I'm at home, I use the vamo mostly but if I'm going to be at a bar, the itaste is variable voltage and wattage and it's very compact. You can't take the batteries out, but for the price of it, it's great and very compact and portable. I've been using the vamo for about 2 months now and have dropped it several times and it still works like a charm. No complaints at all! I like the smoktech vmax mini and have been eyeing it but the price tag is significantly more than the vamo.

I have both a Vamo V2 in black chrome and a Vamo V3 in stainless that I got in the mail today. Both are wonderful. I prefer the V3, though. Removable top ring, the middle body part is not press fit like the V2, the Swirls are actually kinda nice for grip, and the new PCB seems a lot better. Both more pleasing to the eye and better performing. It's reading the resistance of all my atomizers perfectly. Put a 2.5 coil on there, says 2.5 while the V2 said 2.7 sometimes, 2.8 other times, and every once in a while 2.3 on the same coil. :/ The V3 also seems to put out more power. Larger, more dense clouds.

I read all of the hate coming from various people about how the V3 looks. It looks fine. Its not over the top. Give you a grip since its all one diameter. Chrome finish with protank 2 is sexy. My favorite comment i saw about it was that it looks like a Neuralizer from Men in Black and it does!

I've heard the V3 referred to as a mummy wrapped dildo. Lol! I agree with you, though. This thing looks great in stainless. Not near as bad as people try to say. I was gonna wrap it. Now that I have it and see it doesn't look bad at all I think I will save the $14 to $18 bucks I'd spend on a wrap.

Ok guys, thanks for all the great input! What I'm getting is that they're both great and solid performers with multiple configurations that support battery wants/needs. So, last question: Should I just buy both, through them in the air and see which one lands in my hands to vape first? Lol. My vape budget is probably limited to just one this time, but as we all know, the next "great thing" will always be the one you don't currently own!

I'm also thinking of getting an RSST and start rocking two new worlds at once. Does this change anybody's opinion of the SID vs. Vamo? I'm not a sub-ohmer yet and have a Prodigy V3 if I ever decide to try that route.

I'm running an RSST on a Stainless Steel Vamo 2 and they look like they were made for each other.

If you want to go that route the MVP 2 is going to be out next week I believe. It has a few improvements over the original MVP, the two most important being that it has the ability to tell you what the resistance of your attached atomizer is and that it now has a variable wattage option in addition to variable voltage.

Thanks for the input, the mvp looks to be a solid mod, but I don't think I want to buy a complete mod every time the batteries tank. If they change that, then yes I would consider it.
