The decision to buy a Reo instead of another mod was not a difficult decision for me.
I was extremely lucky to find a Grand in the classifieds that was in very good shape and priced fair.

That was about one month ago.
I just wanted to post that I am very satisfied with my purchase. The quality of the build, and the performance are at a level that surpasses my highest expectations.
There is just one problem...........
I am now faced with an anxiety about EVER being separated from my Grand, the Purple One.
I must fix this, and soon.
I could take therapy, ask the doctor for meds, or perhaps there is a simple fix.
As soon as the Grands are up on the site I will buy a new Grand.
It would never take the place of my first perfect vape machine, but it will give me comfort knowing two is always better.
Thank you Rob, for what you have achieved in designing and building. Your talent and attention to detail, give us Reonauts a product we can be proud to use.

Congratulations Nerak -- I had my one month anniversary with my ReoMini a couple of days ago too.

LMAO! I'm with you Nerak -- Sometimes I feel like I should get my head examined when I catch myself stalking the ReoMods.com website and the threads on Reos Mods Forum.

I'm on line with ya doing the "I am so happy I am getting a Grand" happy dance:

I can't hold off this round, gotta fix my anxiety issue! I am going for a Grand. BTW my son is going for a Grand also, his first. And I won't step down for him either! I think Rob has enough Grands coming in to give everyone a good chance. There is also the Woodville going on site Friday at 7pm.
I promise, I will only buy one Grand.

Ok, may the best "page-refresher-button-clicker" win! Good luck!

I'm 2 weeks into a mini.
The first week, I was bouncing between my mini, ego-T, ce2, dripping, passthru, and some carts.

Then the cisco LR atty on the mini kicked in after a few days.

I have absolutely no desire to use anything but the mini anymore.

Don't get me wrong, all the other devices work exactly as promised...but the mini (and i'm guessing the grand) are just a no-maintenance, easy-to refill, never fail device that produces a consistent, satisfying vape everytime.

Now I'm at a loss as to what I should carry as a backup...maybe a 2nd reo?

Now I'm at a loss as to what I should carry as a backup...maybe a 2nd reo?

When I needed to send my first Grand to Reo Spa I only had a Mini as backup. It took Rob at least a month to prod me into letting it leave home. Although I had other PVs I was certainly insecure having only one Reo here.

Now days, for this turn of which colored Reos to use, I leave the house with matching Red/silver Grand and Mini. 6v 4.2 ohm 510 on Grand and 3.7v 1.8 306 on Mini with Pyrex DT.

I keep my collection of Reos and one Phidias right in front of me under the computer monitor. When I'm at my other work table, about six feet from computer cabinet, I gaze over at the collection frequently to admire them AND dream of having more Grands and/or Mini in matching sets, just like the Reds. I have to slap myself a few times to come back to reality. Between DH and I we have a total of twelve... 12.... Reos.

One of my typical digressions coming......My house and property needs thousands in repairs. Next week will be $1.5 K just for the spa and some simple electrical work. And I'm fixing the water heater myself. The Whole House Surge Protector, in the house main panel, took its final surge sometime in the past few months. During one storm a surge/spike took out part of the spa's main control board (not quite two years old) and the storm, the other night, the one that crossed the country doing so much damage, melted some of the wiring and parts, in the water heater control panel so we know we need a new one (one with status indicator lights unlike the old one). We were actually lucky as our neighbors transformer is a lighting strike magnet and his was hit and destroyed during the storm. His get's hit and destroyed about once a year. It's about 50 yards from ours and about 50 ft from the other neighbor but his always gets hit. One time it set the trees on fire. (We only have hot water in the kitchen and laundry room, right now, so no showers or baths for us till next week. The spa is sort of working but the main board is partailly bad so I have to control it by turning the GFCI on and off. I found out yesterday that the high temp cut off is not functioning when I turned it on to heat it for DH after his hardest work day. When I uncovered it the temp of water was 126 F !!!!!!!!!!! It's taken it 24 hours to come down to 105 with the cover off most of the time and a pretty cool night. I'm hoping to be able to use it tomorrow morning.)

But the Reos are all safe and sound.

I will be traveling to Florida to see my Mom, who is dying from liver cancer, later this month. She is going downhill quickly and probably will be my last visit with her. I am stressed right now by that fact alone. I know there is no comparing losing my Mom to losing my REO. It is just the one thing right now that I CAN change. I can buy another Grand and have a back-up to take with me. I am at on a emotional roller-coaster and feel that the bottom will drop out at any minute. The fact that I am putting so much thought into my vaping and the security of having a great vape machine may seem weird to some. Right now vaping is my comfort, and the Grand is my closest friend.
I hope all of those out there wanting their first Grand will understand. It is a need for my sanity at this point in my life.

Westam - sounds like an insurance claim to me.

Nerak - ugh..so sorry to hear..been through that with my dad. I can't imagine handling all the long distance IN to FL family issues. I only lived a few miles from my dad...and it kept me busy - physically and mentally.

I hope you can spend the time to take care of things properly. I was lucky to work with a compassionate company. Hopefully, you do too.
