Becca,

I had trouble quitting while I vaped, I spent a lot of money on different equipment, most I couldn't afford, but I was desperate. I had to quit for health reasons. I bought larger batteries, different brands, finally, I spent my time reading the different threads on this forum. The best decision I made, was buy the next higher nic level. I know you mentioned that you get a great throat hit now. the level of nicotine might be great for most of the time but once in a great while, you need more. (ever light more than one cigarette at a time? or chain smoke for a few hours?) Your taste buds do change a bit, what tasted good a while ago, might taste poorly now.

The best support system is found here, you have to continue to reach out, ask questions, everyone here wants to see you succeed. I am now free of cigarettes after 33 years, 3 PAD's. I have tried to quit smoking at least 10 times, even after repeatedly being hospitalized, I went back to it. If I can do this anyone can.

Hey Becca... I'm at the same point quitting as you are, just hitting my 31 day mark yesterday, and last week was terrible for me but this week I've been back to normal with no cravings for analogs at all. What got me through was much as so many others have said... I upped my nic level, for one. The other was that I always had both a strong menthol and a tobacco based juice near by. Normally I'm one for the fruity flavors and I never smoked menthols but every time I had a really strong craving I grabbed for either one and vaped til it passed.

And yeah, if you do give in, it's really not the end of the world. Just pick back up afterwards and move on. No need to kick yourself or think badly... Look at how much you've accomplished already! One smoke won't undo a month of not smoking and you may just learn that a ciggy isn't all that you once thought it was anymore.
