Becca,
I had trouble quitting while I vaped, I spent a lot of money on different equipment, most I couldn't afford, but I was desperate. I had to quit for health reasons. I bought larger batteries, different brands, finally, I spent my time reading the different threads on this forum. The best decision I made, was buy the next higher nic level. I know you mentioned that you get a great throat hit now. the level of nicotine might be great for most of the time but once in a great while, you need more. (ever light more than one cigarette at a time? or chain smoke for a few hours?) Your taste buds do change a bit, what tasted good a while ago, might taste poorly now.
The best support system is found here, you have to continue to reach out, ask questions, everyone here wants to see you succeed. I am now free of cigarettes after 33 years, 3 PAD's. I have tried to quit smoking at least 10 times, even after repeatedly being hospitalized, I went back to it. If I can do this anyone can.
