The gal that comes to groom my cats is a smoker. I hooked her up with the VK and she immediately loved it. She used it the entire time she was here and was enjoying the heck out of it. Of course, I couldn't let her leave and light up the minute she got into her van, so I gave her batts, a passthrough, cartos and a usb charger and some juice. I told her they are "on loan" until she can get her own, but I'm not going to ask her for them back. I'm sure she's online tonight looking for more flavors of cartos. :)

One less smoker today. Another life saved? I sure hope so.

Yeah, you should have seen the smile on her face when she took her first drag. She was grinning from ear to ear and was simply delighted, like a kid on Christmas. She'd ordered another model before, but it was defective out of the box and she didn't even contact customer service about it. So it went into the trash and she never tried again. Until today e-cigs were a dirty word to her.

She said: Now I KNOW I can do THIS! And she said, I didn't know what I was gonna do, I have to quit smoking, now I can. (Don't I know that feeling?)

It really was great to see her loving the VK.

somewhere out there......
wow I did the same last week with one of the maintance guys that work in the apartment complex where I live. I hooked him up with a battery usb charger and wall charger with 3 marl and a couple of flavers.... he loved it. I saw him the other day and he said he placed an order with V4L last saturday. I hope to here more good news once he starts his menthol cartomizers. Im sure he will get off the smokes soon. yep I hope to have done the same getting one more person off of smokes.... the best part is he works around several apartment complexes which means more people will see him vapen and will ask WTF is that and I hope it brings more people to vapen.... just another way to help someone out and at the same time getting the word out faster.

I too did the same thing yesterday. I got my friend/co-worker vaping. I let him borrow one of my autos, PCC, and a few carts. He's ordering a ultimate kit on Friday and hasn't smoked since yesterday morning.

I really needed him to quit smoking too, because we hang at lunch and I dont want to be around the smoke anymore, but I'm glad we both got saved ;)

Wow, today is a good day. I just talked to my sister, I sent my Brother in law a copper mod awhile back, not a VK I know, but I didn't know about VKs then. He is a VietNam Vet and was exposed to agent orange, so he's got a lot of heath issues. He has severe lung probs, so bad that they told him in his last ER visit, not to even bother coming back up there for help if he didn't quit cigs because there wasn't anything else they could do for him (Hair stood on end hearing that one from my sis!) So anyway, he's using the pv and he's no longer wheezing! He's down to about a pack every 3 to 5 days. My next step is to send him a VK and accessories for Christmas.(He likes the copper but he's not liking the reaction he gets from people who see him using it, thus he's still smoking cigs around his buddies, so I'm going to try and cure that with the VK, it's a lot nicer looking to use in public.) But the point is, no matter what he is using, he's not smoking as much and he may be around a lot longer because of it.

Agent orange is no joke. Its one of those really nasty chemical gases that the Vets were exposed to in vietnam. there skin can get really nasty scabs when it gets exposed to the sun and also can easily get bruised and some others.... its not a good thing. I had a friend eddie cox who passed away from heavy heavy smoking for 30 plus years. He to was a vietnam vet and also had agent orange. He had it bad......

Only if I new about these ecigs a few years ago. just maybe he would be here today. But I totally understand what you are going through. So get that VK to him as soon as you can. I sure wish I could of had that chance now.

Many vets have gotten lung Ca from the agent orange. My brother was in Nam, he also has severe lung disease. My friend just lost her hubby to lung cancer which was attributed to the agent orange as well. Smoking isn't a good thing for anyone, esp. the vets. I'm currently working on my brother to try the e-cig, he turned 60 today.
