I've been buying one shot blends for some time now. Have a few that I like.
Just yesterday created a one shot of my own. Not hard to do.
My question is this..... When creating a one shot of a more complex flavor (custards) does any sort of steeping occur while the one shot mix is sitting waiting to be used?

Really I was kidding with Anna but she is right, and it depends on which flavors you have mixed, and the more complex the more likely there will be some steeping over time. Usually this is a good thing though. I have even seen some single flavors (Strawberry was a biggie for me) that required steeping to taste right.

I would say no. Each ingredient as it sits alone in its own bottle can grow old or maybe become harsh dependant on how it is stored. It needs the nicotine and/or another catalyst to begin developing. Dilution with pg and/or vg may also begin the development although i have not tested that theory.

This is kinda what I was thinking.
you can do an easy test. Just mix a small bottle of any flavor and only your desired pg/vg preference without adding any nicotine. It may turn out you only need a small amt to kick start the process. I may even do one myself just to see results altho i have heard others say they allow their mixes to age before adding nic to the mix so it appears that works.
You could also try just adding just a few drops into the mix of the one shot to see if that would help the flavoring to blend..

I should have been more clear in my last sentence that I mean pg/vg not nic. Sorry for any confusion.
