We are not talking about air hissing or any audible sound aspects. We are asking about sucking harder or easier. We are talking about access to the air holes in atomizers. Some threading designs restrict air to these air holes & some designs allow pretty much complete air access. The limiting factor would be the air intake holes on attys or cartos ....unless the PV threading design restricts air to the holes, which is the basis of our question.

That is a hard question. Since there are many variables that we play with while vaping. I for one change between juices, voltages, atty's etc. The question we should be asking is who would like a variable airflow. I DO, I DO. This actually seems like a very simple addition. A rotateable ring that would allow us to line 1,2,3 or 4 slots and adjust air intake based on the other variables as mentioned above would be awesome.

Now that I agree with..

We have to deal with existing atty designs & the only thing we can vary is the thread design. While your variable draw sounds interesting, it's beyond the scope of this design. In a nut-shell, we either bury the atty air holes in threads that run to the top, OR recess the threads. This will be ONLY for 510's. If you look at the Joye design, the threads are RECESSED to allow access to the atty air holes. That is the ONLY question - to recces or not to recess, that is the question. Frisco: Your missing the point. The limiting factor is the air holes IN THE ATTY ...can't change that. All we can do is allow more or less access to these air holes by reccessing or not.
