Ok guys...i'm shopping...which seems to be insatiable now that i have a pv....but anyhow...hubby has decided he is interested in upgrading...and then we're going to donate 2 of our 510 slims to a friend who's trying to quit for his little boy...

I've found this kit: eGo Clearomizer Kit

and this kit: GotVapes eGo+ elegante 900mah 3.7v e-Cigarette Kit 510 USB BLACK [GV-egoelegante-510kit-900ma] - $69.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

that both hubby and I like...but we're not sure if we should expend the extra $$....or we have the option of buying riva's or ego's through Liberty Flights....

My other question is...eGo T vs regular eGo or Riva, do they function totally different or same just diff juice feed? And can you still use cartomizers on an eGo T if you don't have or run out of tanks? I fear with tanks all the things I've heard about them leaking and such....I MUCH prefer clearomizers or ce2 cartos....for me and hubby both the messy and constant need to top off carts is a hassle...and maintaining atty's....we love the convenience of the cartomizers.

Just thought I'd ask...the other purpose of asking is to clarify because I've seen some reviews on madvapes that said you needed a 510 battery extension to be able to use a clearomizer? How so?? soooo confused....

Basically the gotvapes kit with two PTs 900mAh batts and a lighted ring liek a T-Rexx with 5 clearomizers and some other bells and whistles. At that price I would say it is appropriate for what you get, and would be equivalent to the liberty flights riva or t-rexx kits if they came so equipped. Seems like a pretty good deal.

The madvapes kit is also roughy midway between them so also a pretty good deal.

As for the ego-T its the same battery with a tank atty and tank carts. You can buy them seperately if you would like to try the T system. Some have had trouble with leaking but some love them.

Cartomizers hold considerably more than carts and do not have to be topped off as often, as well the clearomizers you can see when they need topped off, and someone handy can turn them into tank mods.

The main difference between the two kits you linked to seems to be that GotVapes includes USB pass-through batteries. These allow you to vape as usual while charging (plugged into USB), whereas standard batteries (as in the MadVapes kit) do not. So, if you vape in front of the computer a lot, definitely go for pass-throughs. If you like to switch up flavors a lot, stick with the cartos because it will be cheaper than switching eGo-T attys and tanks all the time I think.

I want to get an ego kit from there also (madvapes is a good vendor) but I would get the carto kit. I'm not too happy with the clearos.

Unless you've used the clearos before and like them I'd just buy a regular kit and pick a box of them up to try if you want. Some people like them...I do but I have to mod them to get them that way and some hate them and I've never found a prefilled carto I liked so I'd recommened against the gotvapes one.

I'd go with a cheaper kit from LF. The difference in price would leave you plenty to get some different type cartos or even a tank atty and carts to see what you like. I'd recommend boge 2.0, they are tried and true and easy to use and get a box of CE2s if you want to try those.

Yes you can use the Ego T and other things also on the same battery. The Ego T uses it's on special atomizer and carts sold separately or in a kit.

If you decide you want to try a "tank" type atomizer, then I would recommend trying one of Stormy's Storm Tanks that are hand made. They seem to do a better job than the ones that are mass produced. Here is the site:

Also, if you really want to upgrade the quality of your vaping experience, I would recommend looking at a good 5 volt PV such as the 5 volt GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor or a good variable volt PV such as the Darwin from nhaler.com. You would be surprised at the improvement in quality, consistency, throat hit and battery life.

I'm in the exact same position as you, I've been using 808 batts for about 3 months and it's time for something longer lasting.
The only difference between the eGo and eGo T batteries are the eGo T batteries have the 5 click off.
There's no difference between the eGo, Riva, Inferno, Tornado....etc. from what I've found.
There is a difference on the iGo and Hello batteries, they are 808 threaded.
There is also the Go-Go that uses a completely different size connector, but it does have 808 adaptor's available.
I was pretty much sold on the eGo+ Elegante kit you linked above because it's USB, but after checking out the T-Rex kit at Liberty-Flights I might go that way and spend the $25 I saved on the CE2's.
I loved gotvapes Vortex and I assume the CE2's and eGo tanks will be similar.
The only problem with the Vortex's is that the endcap falls right off in your pocket, so you can end up with a puddle of juice in your pocket. It's only available in an 808 connector right now and a drip tip doesn't pop off.
It would be a hard sell to the wife to get a 120-230 mod right now, ecigs are supposed to be saving money (yea right, hehe)
So, it looks like I'll keep reading the postings here to wittle down my options.
