Wow. Awesome reviews. I had to order some and it will be here tomorrow! I can't wait to mix some new IW batches and see for myself. May also have to venture into the unused TFA and FW as well. I have 450 ml. coming and from what I've read, may have to put in a second order already. I still have about 500-750 ml. of MFS in the freezer....I may have to make room for the VT.

How about steeping? I didn't see much on this. Is the steep time considerably reduced, the same, not necessary? (I don't do tobaccy flavors, mostly fruits and some creams for my wife)

Add: I JUST got a promo email from MFS for 20% off nic. heh heh.....No thanks.

Steeping has been considerably reduced for me. I'm basically just using Inawera now but the fruits and some (but not all) tobaccos are good after a few hours and a bunch of shaking. Can't vape creamy/custard-y anymore so I dunno about those. A couple complex recipes are good after 3 days.

I plan on a sample order. I don't usually buy nic base in VG. On a brighter note: I have plenty of nic for insect control. I don't plan on throwing out. I'm just not vaping it anymore.

Does that really work? I have some nasty nic that sort of smells like bug spray already. Does it need to be diluted?

I am getting information-overload here. If I like a good Throat Hit, and also enjoy clarity of flavor, will I have to choose between the two ....? I think I will wait for a new nic that delivers both to hit the market...

I'm not a Chemist although I play one on TV and I think I saw it on a Gilligans Island episode where the Professor said that PG also provides Throat hit. I'm getting my VT nic PG base.

That is indeed the way I'm seeing it. So far, I'm liking the clear flavors so much that the total lack of throat hit is not bother me. There are a couple flavors I've used in the past (like FA Jamaican Rum) to intentionally add throat hit. I haven't tried them with VT yet.

Fruits are tasting much better to me with VT nic, especially light fruit flavors. Much more flavor is coming through, and it's now tasting just like the flavoring smells. You guys know how fruits can be - bottle smells great, but doesn't taste like that when vaped? The ones I've tried today that have always given me that effect are tasting great now. Many more to try, though!

I use the PG VT nic and I get a throat hit. It's not harsh by no means. Like comparing Marlboro to an Austin :D

Probably but not sure. Last year I used some extra 36ml/mg nic I had. I used it on some wicked ant hills near the house. It worked but more ants have moved in as well.
Edit: Yes, it does kill the ants. I have not tried a solution for my vegetable garden.

LOL That reminds me when I poured some 100 mg on a roach and it didn't even phase the darn thing. I was like hmmm, it didn't penetrate the exoskeleton. So I sprayed some vinegar from my wife's cleaning bottle. Bingo ! Homemade RAID ! :D

Oh that is awesome. I know what I'm doing tomorrow. Fire ants are going down.

No need to wait, it's been on the market longer than NN, WL, or VT.

Since this is a thread about VT, I'll leave it at that.

A word about the throat hit on VT; Initially I found the TH to be somewhat muted, but that was because I mix tobaccos and they take a long time to steep. Now that my mix is fully steeped, I find the throat hit to be approximately the same as other nics. There is not much variation in TH among different brands anyway - perhaps 5%, give or take. So unless you're a TH masochist, then I would go with whichever brand gives you the best flavor.

I'm getting the exact same results. I have a few mixes that are well developed. Great satisfaction, with much better flavor.

TH masochist, I like that :D

I'm not noticing any difference in the TH of the VT nic after a time. Still seems on the low side to me. The flavor throughput is still top notch.

I do notice less of a color change over the same time period as NN or MFS, but it is slight and I have to hold bottles side by side to notice the difference. (Old version of the MFS from the bowels of my freezer because I've been having to rob the bowels of my freezer as my period(s) of unemployment dragged on, but first paycheck from new job purchased some of VT's.)

Congrats on the new job Hoosier. Same thing here in Michigan, money has been tight since moving back from Arizona. As soon as it loosens up, I will be getting some of the VT Nic. I hear nothing but great things about it and I'm really looking forward to trying some myself.

Cheers,
Steve

Eh, it's a 9 month temp position, so I could likely be out of work fairly soon again. Oddly, that's fairly common in my line of work.

I could be bitter that I designed things that make the production of 95% of the world's insulin possible and have signed agreements with the SS to never reveal what I designed for Wash DC, but product development is a pretty wicked business to end up being good at. And Hollywood screen writers think they have it rough...

I bet man. Someone is bound to find it. If myfreedomsmokes weren't such weirdos, I'd ask them what was their old source. But that's to be expected in this wacky industry. Old farts getting rich overnight :D

Wow Jimi, along with all of your DIY talents, you're psychic as well! I've never noticed any talk about VT nic on the Reddit DIY forum before so I thought I'd give that group a heads up about it. Within seconds some MFS nut job made about 6 wacky posts about all the pepper flavor in VT nic, that I work for them etc. It was actually funny. Blueser saw the post and vouched for me. Aforementioned MFS whacko then deleted all of his posts, then added a few more. Too funny! My guess is they know that VT nic really is something special so they are worried. Or just nuckin futs :)
