Looking to make a big 808 battery purchase, at least 4 regular size (280mAh) and another 4 extended (380mAh) batts, possibly more. Want to get a mix of auto and manual if I can, though some vendors (heaven gifts mainly) only seem to stock manual 808 batts. Requesting opinions on vendors, what you use and have liked, who you wish you would have avoided, etc. If I am posting this in the wrong place, please feel free to move me around moderators! :)

I've heard that the new V4L 808 batts have a 20sec timeout on their auto models, 10 sec on their new manuals. Price isn't too bad.

heaven gifts has really cheap manual 808 batts ($7.50 for 280mAh, $8.50 for 380mAh), and the long wait would be fine for me, even with the "standard" shipping (which is purported to be 3-4 weeks).

So far my only experiences are with V2cigs 808 batts. They work fine (aside from my post about the charging lights not blinking off on some of them). No way I'm paying their prices for more!

V4L seems to be fairly well-regarded here on the forums. I've also seen reasonable prices at vaporkings.com (want to get one of their auto usb passthrus soon).

I don't care about LED color, "diamond" ends, or even barrel color (I prefer gloss black, or matte black if I can get it). Logos are OK, prefer not to have them plastered all over the barrel if I can help it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. V4L is running a 26% discount (ending today) for sales over $85.00, 22% for over $50.00, which is what got me thinking about this today! The codes were pulled from inline ads here on this site, so I'm sure you've prolly seen them already.

You could check out LiteCigUsa.com, they have been good for me so far. I think the autos that I have are about a 10 sec cutoff and there is no logo on the batteries.

Those prices are sure nice. Glad to hear a good word! Now just need to track down a discount code! :)

WOW those V2cigs prices are crazy!

Yes they are! I am thankful that I found this forum soon after I made my starter kit purchase from them, so I won't have to work thru them any longer.

I just purchased 2 manual kr808 batts for litecigusa.net and they are great!! REALLY cheap too! Granted I've only had them for a week, I would definitely recommend them

I also have been using the V4L Diamond and its great too! I really like the 20 sec cutoff, but rarely need it.

It's funny because I was in the same boat you're in. Started with V2 then discovered this forum and all the other options out there. I thank V2 for getting me started and off analogs, but I'll never do business with them again.

V4L or LiteCig (or both) and you can't go wrong. XL batts all the way!
