I've been encountering this a lot lately. Opinions.

Typically it goes like this:

OP: Hey guys, I'm interested in x. What is your opinion about x?

REPLY 1: Well, x is this way. But y is better, in my opinion, and here's why: explanation.

REPLY 2: Well, y does this, which is why x is better, so I agree with the OP. In my opinion.

REPLY 3: X and y both suck, z is the best. And here is why: explanations.

REPLY 1: Well, I understand it's your opinion and all, but x is still this way, and this is why I believe it: explanation.

REPLY 3: I agree with REPLY 3. "Like".

REPLY 4: Hey, REPLY 3, nobody asked about z, they asked about x and y. If you can't contribute anything to the conversation, see your way out.

REPLY 3: snooty comment.

My favorite thread is when the OP askes for peoples thoughts on product X then spends the whole thread arguing with what everyone thinks. If you already know so much and have made up your mind why are you asking for opinions?

I like answers that have nothing to do with the original post. Like, trying to get a newbie who wants an Ego or Evod to buy a mech and get into subohm vaping.

It's all about the bell curve.

For every person who gives a thoughtful response regarding their opinion of x based on their experiences...
There is another person who is incapable of maintaining focus long enough to tie their shoes properly...

Welcome to the internet and forums. I have frequented Audio/video forums, a forum on Bearded Dragons, a forum for Android users and they are all the same. There are people who want to truly be helpful and will answer the question asked there are those that think there is no other way than theirs and will present argument for Y. A subset of those argue for Z but they are the same type of people. I have never understood the whole thing because if I wanted to know about Y I will ask about Y. It's the nature of forums. UNFORTUNATELY.

What it generally all boils down to people telling other people to use what they use regardless of the information given by the OP in their question.

And for every 2 people you will get 3 opinions. Should I give my opinion of seeing both, the term stinkies and the term fecal matter in the same thread.

This thread is spot on and I chuckled and read replies...then I got here and remembered I had butternut squash to puree for my dragons...

I never expected ECF to remind of that LOL.

And Z is the best choice - its obvious
