If it's silly to er on the side of caution and not get newbies into trouble so be it. I'm silly. I'll take that as a complement considering the sources personal attack rather than attacking the issue. Debate 101 if you can't win on the merit of the argument attack the person. The wilder/more hazardous it gets the better the chance of a big hammer falling on us. They are looking for excuses to drop the hammer. What someone does to themselves if not my concern unless they start pushing it as anything other than what they decided was OK for them. I don't push stuff unless I am very sure it's safe/safer than tobacco.

What a lot of us are talking about is reasonable safe vapor. This is a serious business and this kind of stuff is only going to bring it down to legal wattage limits and all kinds of other stuff. vaping a room fogger is a wast of juice and power. Serves no purpose but to impress and is almost surly dangerous. It's not a joking matter.

I find this extremely funny. Lets imagine this in real life.

Cop pulls a dude over, and sees a mech mod and RDA on the passenger seat. Grabs his multimeter and asks "Son, you been vapin' sub-ohm tonight?"

You honestly think this is a possibility?

Alright i see your concern with people blowing big clouds and the gov. or whoever trying to use that again us vapers. But debating about the subject on how they will use it against us isn't going to solve anything. The trend for vaping sub ohm/massive clouds has spread like wildfire. There's probably thousands of vapers who are vaping like that. Should we try to tell everyone that they will use vaping big clouds against us? Definitely improbable but not impossible, people will keep vapeing the way they enjoy the most. We should all just vape how we all like to until they try to put the hammer down and see what happens.

LMAO!!! Thats too funny!

Speaking of safety, these ego/510 ohms meters go out on Friday. There were like 50 left a couple days ago, its down to 6 now. Get one while you can, or else get ripped off on Ebay for $70 bucks a pop!

I was ticked too about the 14500 battery until I went to Ebay. Just bought two 14500 batteries off Ebay for only 3.50 free shipping and shipping from the states. Not nearly as bad as what we pay for 18650.

Just my 2 cents on the subject.

If you have to ask if a setup is safe then don't use it. Either you haven't done your homework enough to know the answer or there is a doubt about safety nagging at you. Either one is a good enough reason to stay away.

I would much rather see someone err on the side of safety than get hurt. Yes I am more concerned about the person than the clouds. GO ahead and flame me if you want.

It appears you can instead use a USB power cord if you always build near a computer.

Yea I seen that with the power source, the thing im a little confussed about is if you can use it without the battery in it and just having it plugged in? I know my cell phone won't work without a battery in it, plugged in or not. It confused me so I ordered the batteries anyway, payed only $3.50 shipped, so im not complaining. :D

Noooo not gonna flame you, that's a very understanding post of yours.

I did the math and have around 10 amps to spare using my Sony 30A batt (if you read my original post I state I did the math and it was fine). The main reason I wanted opinions is because most say anything under 28 gauge is dangerous. After doing the math im over here scratching my head as to why no one sells anything below 28 gauge, I wanted to see others opinions as to why they feel its so dangerous if the math is right.

I should have used different wording while explaining myself.

With that said, I ordered 26 gauge instead as the only 24 gauge I found was in bulk at $32 bucks. So I ended up going 26 gauge as I got 25 feet of it for only $6 and some change. :D

I just built a similar setup to this video, I did not vape I always test by blowing on the wick hard and vaping the room, I know the consequences of a wicking failure let alone alone a battery failure.
It flamed on me every 4 sec hold. 3 sec was fine 4 sec and flame like clockwork. even though the wick was saturated it did not feed fast enough after 4 seconds..

This style of vaping build issues death if a wick runs low on e juice, it flames up so fast there is no way to stop it from burning your throat or lungs.

I set it up in a igo-l just to play around with it forgetting about the sub-ohm flame up with this low ohm and coil set-up, im talking a serious flame like voosh --fast.

Flame in the lung= impairment or death

The REO or other bottom fed devices are the type devices you want to use when using a sub ohm vape style-- there is so little play room and those that vape sub can admit those uber hot vapes when they run low on e fluid and forget to drip.. One of those vapes may = singing and flower bringin'..

I will admit it for them its uber dangerous.
