y you can use a shortstop but you need to make sure its Orbtronics PD2900 HIGH DRAIN . Sal has contacted me from Orbtronics people buying other batteries that says NCR cells that are wrong batteries then having issues.

You can easily obtain them from FLUID VAPOR. They just became a resseller for the new NCR Orbtronics PD2900 High Drain batteries

Fluid Vapor
Orbtronic High Drain 18650 2900mAh NCR18650PD Hybrid Li-ion (each)
Bishop, they are in stock at Orb. why this other retailer?

Confused.

EDIT:Seems I can buy BOTH here...I see. Oh, and that was me who asked what that gel-like juice you were using for the mini-b.
Looks like I can get that Blue-Pill here...FUGEDDABOUTIT!

Fluid Vapor is a E-Cig Vendor and they sell to vapors on a regular basis. They were so impressed with the results of that battery they wanted to sell it to there vapors as well. plus customer support is epic by Rob and Peanut.

To have more than one avenue of a way to get stuff is always a plus for me. like in GG if I cant get it from Bruce Ill get it from Vassiles.

bish, first of all: great reviews, and thanks for all you do :)

secondly, i vape kanger protanks and MT3's with the 2.5 ohm coils. on the go, i use either an ego twist or a vision spinner (compact, can adjust voltage as needed, etc) but i still use my silver bullet at home, and i'm on the hunt for some new batteries (all my current ones are ~1 year old, or more). this battery seems to be great, but you said you recommend it for sub-ohm vaping (which i'm certainly not doing). what would you recommend for someone vaping like i do? (right around 2.5 ohms, those are the only replacement coils i use).

EDIT: sorry, just realized this thread is in the GG area of the forums >.< found it via google, didn't even look :p

Bishopheals,

what do you think about this battery?:

Samsung INR18650-20R 2000mAh (Green)

Max. discharge current: 22A

I'm unsure about safety and battery chemistry.

Ariel I still need to test that battery. At this time I can not comment on that battery. I will need to speak to Samsung first to see how this will handle in High Drain applications. As well as how it will handle a stress test. Ill add it to my list to do's.

Imeo no problem with the extensions. Problem is with telescope. I tried on other 2 telescopes and it was fine. The problem is in the one below from the 2 sides but the engraved tube side is a bit better. Here I show my second battery. The first one I forced in and torn it. I put a tape now and use it in a VAMO for safety circuit.

its an easy fix aal. Take a thin sandpaper and sand the internal edge of the telescope. The cnc machine left a very thin layer of metal at the beggining of the tube

It's better to use with telescope the green ones, that comes without plus button. I mean Panasonic NCR18650PD. I have both of them (thanks for that goes to Bishop) and I'm happy. Orbtronics with plus button goes well with provari, and Panasonic goes well with GGTS 2012 SS.

Orbtronics does not fit provari extension cap at all as well.

I don't mind the tube IMEO, I have 6 others lol but i feel bad because i forced the battery in there and it ripped the sleeve . I just want to say to other people to try it slowly and if there is resistance to do what you told me. The AW's don't have this problem at all.
