I believe vapors a (if memory serves me correctly) offers the proper hex key for a few bucks more with the orchid. It's right there in the options it has when you're adding the orchid to your car, right along side like silica, juice, batteries, etc (they try and get you to add on as many extras as they can while they see you're in a buying mood to get a device lol) hope that helps good luck. Is still really be interested in seeing a comprehensive head to head with a KFl + v2 by someone like Todd, pbsuardo, or rip trippers, but there really isn't much in the way of reviews for the device that I've been able to find.

I love the way the tank looks. My only hold up on getting one is the little tiny allen key for the screws. Why not just Phillips or flat heads. I know Acerig and Tobeco has clones of these already but they both stuck with the tiny allen screw. Maybe i could find a Phillips or flat head from lowes or H depot to work with it.

Ok, that was funny right there.

Seriously, thanks for putting a smile on my face, the idea of someone trying to figure out how they're going to manage to use quartz as the new "it" vaping apparatus is just too funny, IMO it perfectly summarizes the attention deficit nature of the vaping community ie always moving on to the next latest and greatest wicking medium, rda, rta, mod, battery, drip tip, juice lol and don't get me wrong, I'm just as guilty on these counts as the worst of em'.
The average person will never know our struggle, what it's like to be addicted to vaping gear, I'm considering organizing vapers to give inspirational talks to ...... addicts who think no one out there can understand what they're going through...we can show them they're not alone, that there are kindred spirits out there in the form of vaping hobbyists, just trying to make it through the week until they can find their next dual macro coil in parallel build or some new wicking material made of dodo bird feathers and baby rhinoceros tears (trust me, it really helps to prime the wick)

I didn't smoke cigarettes, but I used the action of vaping, and the hobby of it, to help fill that void I caused for myself.

..but I wouldn't ever listen to someone who quit smoking...really didn't even quit, went to something more fun, time consuming, and unknown as far as dangers of it.. on advice on where I was.. it's just the way it is.

Anyone know why Jvape's was the first shop I had ever been inside of? Lol

So just got my orchid, first setup is dual coil with 30g at 1.3... vapes great on the provari at 4.2V but so much better on the dna at 25W
Dumb question... is there a trick to completely filling the tank
Guessing its supposed to have that empty space. I need to start a "RBAs for OCD vapors thread. LOL

No fill hole is a glaring fault of the atty, IMO. Hopefully it's something that will get fixed soon enough.

Can't you throw a top fill kf top on it, that along with the quartz kit and it might be pretty cool, those along with the original cost of the atty itself. And it would have to. Blow the Fv4 out of the water to get any more of my attention....
The few top fill kits I've seen are pricy!
Not really sure who sells them even...

Hmm, sure you didn't get the Authentic by mistake??:D:lol:

I dont know breh. But this thing is BS, I am minutes from flying this thing in the trash. I don't think I want anything from aethertech or anything cloned of it. I feel also something that should be mentioned.

The THREADS on the clone is super sharp, and I feel like this thing is putting plastic shavings into the juice.

Infact, I am throwing this thing away

Found the Kayfun refillable Top Cap at ft. They have it in brass too. Looks like the under $6 soulution, and 2-3 week wait. :D

Yeah Yot feel for ya, am always leary when buying tobeco clones. My worst ones have been from them, and the post mounting the did on the flash-e-vapor v2 clone was just plain scary.

Though do have 2 decent clones from them, out of 6. so 33% success rate. About average for clones I guess. :D Ehpro clones have had Zero 0 success with, but their own authentic Big Buddha dual coil 26650 rba, Russian similar deck and wicking, but better, is simply outstanding.

Maybe your doing something wrong or the clone you got is defective but mine works fine with barely any leaking after the initial fill your probably not building and wicking it right that's the only thing I could think of that's causing excess leaking the only thing I came to this thread to ask was what juices will crack this tank?

It's polycarbonate tank...so citrus stuff, sour, anise/absinthe, banana stuff...it looks just like a nano kayfun tank..thankfully+unfortunately, there are several flavor vendors/varieties..so it's ultimately up to the process and final product. Some citrus may be fine. While others will eat it up like nothing...

You'll find out quickly..if it's a gnarly juice, it'll crack immediately. If it will crack it over time, it will get a fogginess to it rather quickly..and you may even notice the liquid being a little harsh. That would be plastic, absorbed by the liquid.

Hmmm. I was wondering about what juices cause what types of tanks to crack. So sour juices cracks polycarbonate? I just started filling mine up with Lazarus Compass today. I hope it doesn't crack on me. I am going away for the weekend. I brought my magma as a backup and dripper.

Supposedly it's natural citrus and some peppermint oils/extracts that cause tanks to crack, but even then the whole tank cracking thing confuses me. Eco-cooler from MBV has visible orange/citrus oil in the juice (separates out if left for awhile) and I had some sit inside a vision clearo for months in my junk box and the tank never cracked or discolored or anything.

I know it happens as I've seen plenty of videos with real-time juice cracking a tank, but I don't think it's really as common as some people assume. I've stopped worrying about tank crackers and run all sorts of citrus juice though my kayfuns with plastic tanks and never had an issue. There are quite a few different materials being used for tanks these days and not all plastic cracks with juice either.

If you are worried the best thing to do is put a small drop on the outside of the tank and leave it for awhile to see if it discolors (frosty kinda look) or starts cracking. If not you should be good to go! Although if you already have the tank filled and been vaping without issue so far, you should be safe.
