Ordered mini but have tank questions

Just ordered a silver mini with blue led. I was very nervous and it took me a few minutes to get the guts to hit place order.
i trust you guys on the forums and I have a ego c twist now and I need something new because my gaping experience has been going downhill lately. Need a fresh start and I hope the mini will fix it.

i currently own about 60 fake vision ce4 clearomizers and I don't think they will give the results I need on mini
i want to know what I can use on the mini that will get me great results.
i want something between 1.5-3.0 ml. Like a tank thingy that you just fill once and go all day.. No dripping
Saw the atty z but don't know the price. I like the small fat glass look


Can you recommend any brands or types?

Damnit if only my wife vaped then maybe she would not kill me tomorrow for ordering this .

If you want something rock solid reliable and dependable to compliment your mini you cant go wrong with a pyrex tank from IBTanked, Phiniac or Valley View Vapes. Get a box of pre-punched cartomizers and your all set.

If you want to go the tank route, you can buy boge cartos prepunched (or buy a punch and do them yourself) and a nice, cheap tank at ibtanked.com. I suggest getting a tank tool, they have them for a few bucks and they save your o-rings when you insert the carto into the tank. They also help when you refill it, making it easy.

If I remember correctly, the skirts on your clearos won't fit on the ProVar without an adapter. Your new mini is 510 threaded, so any 510 thing will fit (except the long skirts lol).

Word of caution in regards to Boges, if you vape high vg juices I hear that they dont perform that well.If thats the case and youre set on them Id recommend going with 3 holes.

Smoktek prepunched cartos work great with my 10/90 pg vg blend juices with 2 holes.

So these are tanks with cartos in them? I thought cartos had to be dripped constantly? Or is that what the holes do? Keep touching the juice and keeping the cargo wet? So once I have the tank then I just need to buy pre punched cartos as the replacement piece right?

The cartos go inside the tank and are held there by o-rings. Then liquid is poured inside and gravity and capillary action keep the coil constantly wet for you.

If your looking for convenience these are hard to beat. I fill once in the morning before work and once at night and the cartos last anywhere from 2 weeks to a month.

Again I use high vg juices and its been my experience that this setup provides more flavor and vapor than a clearomizer or clearo/tank hybrids like the ViVi Nova.

I havent seen any co-ops for those lately but I know smoktek.com has the smoktek pre-punched cartos for a good price especially if you buy 16 at a time.

Actually if you buy 16 or more they are 1.69 each....thats not bad at all for a product that will last 2 weeks to a month and Rob from Smoktek has lightning fast shipping.

Make sure you specify how many holes and what resistance you like in the drop down box before checkout.If not it will default to 1.7ohm 1 hole

Personally I ge low res but with Provari it doesn't really matter cause you can change your volts.

You prime the carto with 20-30 drops of juice depending on the size.Have to be patient when priming because sometimes the juice absorbs slowly.Keep adding juice until it looks slushy on top....Baditude recommends using a toothpick to put in the center hole so you dont get any juice inside.

Then use a drip tip thats the same diameter of the carto (something like a vivi nova drip tip works great) and insert the carto into the tank.It helps if you put just a drop or two of juice on your finger and lightly oil the top of the carto and the o-rings and then slide it in.

That sounds a little dirty actually....lol.

I leave the top cap off when Im setting up a tank for the first time. All you have to do then is fill with juice, leaving a little room for the cap and slide it over the drip tip and pop it on.

After all of that (youll get the hang of it and be able to do it very quickly soon) get a napkin and the assembled tank and blow through the drip tip with the napkin underneath. Youre going to see some juice spray out but thats normal.

Screw your new tank onto your mod or battery and enjoy for the rest of the day.

Even easier to fill is the condom method. The condoms are the plastic coverings which come on the cartos. Take the .... plug out of the bottom one (that goes in the threaded part) and fill half full of juice. Take the mouth piece off the top of the carto so you can see the filler. Slowly push the carto threaded end into the half filled condom. The reason to do this is you are filling from the bottom rather than the top so it soaks it in better than gravity will. Once the top looks "slushy" you are done. Blow out the carto from the mouth end into a napkin, insert into the tank. Take a couple of hits without turning on the PV to prime it then vape away.

There are videos on this also, they call it the condom carto filling method. Takes less than a minute and you are on your way with no waiting for the carto to soak.

If you get a tank from IBTanked.com, he puts it in a "thingy" (his name for it) and that helps the juice get into the carto after it is in the tank. You can use high VG juice this way, it works great. I use the SR prepunched boges and have no problems with high VG. If you do, you can add a few drops of distilled water to thin it, though I have never needed to using the condom method and the priming hits.

Personally I love to fiddle with my thingy. And when your in a vape shop you can't help but laugh when you tell every one that you filled the carto by playing with your thingy. Sorry but I said it and then realized what it sounded like from all the stares. Made me laugh out loud. Made them all blush.
