Has anybody gotten one with the post hole on the positive pin? Which manufacturer, and where did you get it?

I have the first one that came out on FC (the most expensive one :face palm:). I'm guessing it's the Kingberry version (dunno if they're manufacturers or distributors though). Everything's 1:1 except for the missing post hole. Worked great from the jump, no problems at all. Would've liked a steel tank to go with it though.

haha I don't look at this atty as a genny. I look at it as an Origen rda with a super-deep well.

Blasphemy!

I'm also looking for a clone with a hole in the post, it would really make things easier with dual builds.

...but not a janky one.
The one at FT has one, but the rest of it is not so good...anybody seen the Yeahsmo one yet? I'm thinking the one to look for is the one that comes with the metal sleeve. Then it'll be a good one (hopefully) with the post hole.

Tobeco seems to be stepping up their game with the clones. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that version when you get it, like if it has the post hole. Careful with the 510 thread - I had forgotten how soft it was and held it there with pliers once to loosen the tank. When I screwed it onto my mod, all but one thread broke off. haha still using it with that one thread left!

I'll be sure to post my thoughts on the Tobeco one.

Tell me about it! The one from Focal got moved from mod to mod when it started to wobble and wouldn't catch the threads. The last stop was my rDNA and when it wouldn't thread any more i reluctantly moved it to the spare parts bin.

The most awesome thing about buying the non counterfeit version is supporting the rightful owner of the intellectual property, inventor, innovator and honest hard working modder of the Origenny! Thats what I really love about it. If you cant afford it buy a Kanger or Aspire. They provide an amazing vape. There is no need to support the criminal empire that is the counterfeit capital of the world, Shenzen China. Not to mention things like the inferior quality of the metals used that are constantly exposed to liquid quickly rust and I dont like to vape rust personally. 2 small reasons to not support counterfeit.

Thats fine and all, and I agree with you on the inferior materials used but I'm sure there are threads dedicated to the topic you're bringing up.

I recieved the Tobeco clone yesterday and i have had time to inspect and play around with it.
The build quality is far superior to the Focal/FT clone. It has a hole in the center post but it's quite small and the limit seems to be two 26g wires, which is fine for me since I tend to prefer that gauge in gennies. It came very clean without any oil residue. It didn't have any conductivity issues and worked straight out of the box.

When all is said and done this is a great clone that provides a great vape and like the garbage Focal clone this will be my main atty until something better comes along, which should take a while because the design is masterful.
