I recently picked up an infinite origen v2, my first build was single coil 2.4mm and it was not good on flavor, next build was dual coil 2.4mm at .5ohms, it was better on flavor. No matter what single coil build I try the flavor is just not there. Any suggestions on great flavor builds???

I have been doing only horizontal builds, 26g wire. I'm in the process of trying a dual vertical with 10 wraps on 2mm, trying to keep it around .5 ohms. When I dropped down to .3 which is where I run my stingray and vertex v2 single parallel, it was way too hot. I've got the origen on a SMPL clone.
So my ten wrap vertical on 2mm came out to.26ohms...not sure how that happened but it is not anywhere near as hot as the horizontal at .30...flavor is much better now!
I've struggled to build vertical coils in my infinite origen v2 clone. Without the hole in the center post it's been difficult for me to do dual verticals. I tried a single 28 gauge, 2.5 mm, .9 ohms vertical , but flavor wasn't fantastic; I tried a dual sleeper setup, but my coils sucked and it wasn't great either. Finally, I resorted to what had worked in my magma for flavor: a twisted 28 g, 2.5mm, 1 ohm horizontal coil, and the flavor is amazing!
The twisted is working so well that I'm wondering if I should try the sleeper again with twisted wire because the twisted is a little thicker, maybe the coils will hold up for me a little better?

This could be a sin, but I drilled my Origin v2 out for a little more air. I think it might have been 1/8" but I'm not sure. I remember I picked the first bit that wouldn't slide through, so, it's not much bigger.
I think vertical spaced dual coils, 26ga, 7 wraps on a 2.4mm bit work great. Cut the wicks about 2mm off the top of the coil and leave enough tail to just lay in the bottom of the deck. Don't stuff the well full. I get great flavor and thick vapor. Hope that helps.
