2. Do you spend too much time entering contests over and over and over for the same one???
I never really thought about it. I spend a lot of time entering contests but don't consider it too much time since it is fun, for something I can use, and I like interacting with others. If I let it interfere with other things that needed to be done, then I would consider it too much time.

Will go with these again

Take your pick or answer both...........
Q: Is there a company that you refuse to spend money with, but will still enter their contests?

Q: Do you DIY and how is it going for you?

Q: When you finish a bottle of juice do you throw the empty bottle away or clean it out and keep it?[/B]

Clean and keep! :D

2. Do you spend too much time entering contests over and over and over for the same one???

Probably. ;)

Is there a company that you refuse to spend money with, but will still enter their contests? (Does that make me a bad person?)

Nope, and no!

Q: Do you DIY and how is it going for you?

Well, not officially, however; I have added premixed flavors to other flavors to see what it would taste like. I was doing alright, until I added too much of one to another and ruined it! Now, I'm not messin' around with that much.

I'll keep it going...Do you DIY and how is it going for you?

"General Mills Inc., Girl Scouts of the USA and Tootsie Roll Industries Inc. are among several companies that have sent cease-and-desist letters to makers of the liquid nicotine demanding they stop using the brands and may take further legal action if necessary. They want to make sure their brands aren’t being used to sell an addictive drug or make it appealing to children."

Since we all know it doesn't have to contain Nicotine and may not be a drug....

When you hear stories in the news like this do you get angry?

Eh, like I said it's water under the bridge. I've moved on and am happy, so I don't dwell on it. :)

I changed it this past weekend. I was bored so thought I'd try something different for a change. It always throws me too when someone changes theirs. You get used to seeing one and then all of a sudden it's different, and then you gotta think about it and go "hey wait a minute isn't that (so and so)"....LOL!

Just keeping you on your toes. :p

Huge thanks to originvape.com for the contest and my free Pimp Juice! I posted a review after receiving it today (QUICKLY, I might add); here is the important part:

Service
: Can I fault it? Even if I hadn't gotten this for free, with the effort on my part reduced to posting on a fun thread and PMing my address, it was still lightning fast and personal. It was mailed the day after the contest closed, and arrived in two business days. Two huge thumbs-up.

Packaging: Another big thumbs-up. Glass bottle with dripper top, with a professional printed label. They even gift-wrapped the bottle after it had been securely wrapped in bubble wrap!

Price: Mine was free, but since this is a review, it's included. $0.60/mL at regular pricing, only available currently in 15 mL bottles (to my knowledge). Slightly higher than average, but nowhere near 'boutique' prices (coughcoughFIVEPAWNScoughcough) and well worth it IMHO.

Taste: Tasted on a Vamo V5 with HH.357 at 2.0 ohms after being allowed to sit with the cap off for two hours then shaken. The taste is advertised as resembling Sweet Tarts candy, and they have it dead-on. I get primarily the reddish sweet tart (raspberry), but there are citrus notes lurking on the exhale as well. Most interestingly to me, I also get that dry, powdery 'kick' of a mouth-feel you get from those candies. It makes me nostalgic for the times I used to scrounge through the couch cushions, hop on my BMX bike, and head to 7-11 with a dollar and change in coins, and get what candy I could to satisfy my sweet tooth. Two big thumbs up, and I suspect this will rest wonderfully.

Nope. I knew it was a matter of time. Repurposing someone else's brand is illegal. It may not contain nicotine, but be honest most people vape with nicotine. There is no need to be mad at General Mills. Be mad at the liars in the FDA and other "public health" groups that demonize vaping. They are the ones making it dangerous for those companies to be associated with the vaping. Also get frustrated with the companies for using copyright protected names instead of being more inventive.

Does anybody have a suggestion for a better tank company than Kanger? I am getting frustrated with their coils and tanks again. In this last batch of six one was great, one was wired incorrectly and wasn't heating the juice correctly, one just flooded for no reason, and the other I had to reach through the base and adjust to get it to actually read more than 1.1 ohms.

These are authentic Kanger heads. I just can't take it anymore. Two out of four have worked properly and one of those completely lacks flavor.

I agree about the copyright thing. By calling a juice Tootsie Roll or some other brand name, a company sounds like it is implying that the company that makes Tootsie Rolls is supplying the flavoring, rather than that the company making the juice is trying to make it taste like Tootsie Rolls. The same way as another company can't make a candy that looks and tastes like Tootsie Rolls and call it Tootsie Roll.

Or other companies which make crisped rice cereals can't call them Rice Krispies.

I haven't found any tanks which I like better than the Kangers (at least for me), which is one of the reasons I bought a Kayfun and a Nimbus. I was spending too much money experimenting with different brands, and decided to go with something that had good reviews, and I could build to suit myself. Next up, will probably be a Taifun GT and maybe a Patriot. Unfortunately, when I went to order the Taifun GT this afternoon, I found that it is out of stock at Origin, so I will have to wait.

I wanted to buy one of the Taifuns too, but when I went to buy it this weekend I too saw that it was sold out. Oh well, I'm not really in a hurry since I have plenty to vape with. Just want to try it out to compare to the kayfuns I have. Right now they are my favorite, except for my reo that is! :D

Mike, aside from the resistance issues you've mentioned, if you come across Kanger heads with wicking problems a quick fix would be to remove the factory wick with tweezers and replace it with organic cotton. If that's something you've already tried and it hasn't worked for you, I apologize. Perhaps I can recommend you a tank of a different brand, but in my experience it all depends on what your preference is when it comes to ease of setting up, airflow resistance (or lack of), and dual vs. single coiled tanks, etc..

If you haven't tried re-wicking the Kanger coils just yet and it is something you're interested in learning more about, I've made a tutorial on it for a customer and uploaded it to youtube recently, it can be found here: Changing wick coils to cotton - YouTube. Please don't mind the bit of technical difficulties regarding the sound in certain areas of the video, it was a warm day and the video camera didn't agree with our air conditioner. This method is great for anyone who wants to either recycle their coils after use or to fix some of the issues that Kanger coils may have. I'm here to answer any questions about it anytime!

Thank you so much for the generous review Fenway!! I'm so glad you're enjoying the juice, it really does taste just like the candy! Haven't had some myself in years but the juice does bring a nostalgic taste that's not easily forgotten :)

You're more than welcome; the review wasn't generous, your contest was generous. The review was honest :toast:

What makes me angry is that some bigwig with the Girl Scouts said it was "shameful" of us to market an addictive substance (Nic) to children. Hellooooooooooooooooo....................sugar.............addictive. Marketed to and THROUGH children.
