Being busy lately, yes.. Caught me off guard.


Q. Were you already at Walmart before you figured out the back to school sale was happening?

Nope and I don't know ... I stay away from Walmart as much as possible. It seems to attract all the scum of the universe and it's one of the big company giants that treats their employees like slaves and smothers other smaller local businesses. I prefer to give my money to a more worthy business.

I'm not a fan of Walmart or their business practices. However, I recognize that they have made themselves indispensable in certain communities (cf. business practices), so I don't think any worse of people who shop there. And while I don't particularly care for them, it does not mean that I haven't found myself at a Walmart from time to time. Fortunately for me, I have choice where I live and the means to make that choice.

I looooooathe Wally World. With a capital loathe. I avoid it at all costs. If the man friend has to run to walmart? He goes it alone. He has tricked me a couple of times. He paid dearly for it.

Speaking as a former employee of Wally World, I can totally agree with you...we were treated like crap, breaks were non-existent, and were forced to accept abuse by customers, and I mean actual physical abuse...one of my fellow cashiers was assaulted one day by a customer and our management refused to back her up until I convinced her to press charges against the customer...and management still wanted to know what she did to cause the customer to hit her!

Needless to say I only worked there for 6 months before I just couldn't take it anymore and just never showed up again...I didn't even go pick up my final check for a few weeks because I just couldn't stand the sight of the place and refused to shop there for a very long time. Unfortunately though, they are the cheapest place around and with money tight sometimes, I have no choice but to shop there at times. I still hate the place though!

Oh no! Football season is coming? !?!?! YUCK! That means hubby is going to have it on ALL the time! NOOOO! It did make it a little better 2 yrs ago hubby got be to play fantasy football with his team, I majorly kicked all thier butts! Hehe!

Well, since Walmart is a long ways away, and since they made it bigger, we can't buy a lot of the things we used to buy, I only go there out of necessity, and it's only once every three months or so. Anyway, I had no idea they were having a sale. You don't hear people mention their sales there around here, because since they turned into a super Walmart, their business has dropped by half. It's a horrible place. Things you used to be able to get at Walmart, you have to drive to another city to Staples or other stores to get. They tripled the size of the store, and took out a ton of the things we couldn't get anywhere else, because no one else sells them. It's also so big you get too tired trying to find things in there because they keep rearranging everything so you have to walk all over the store to find them, and to buy related items they put some things on one side of the store, and their counterparts on the other.

I hate that store. I think they designed it to make people hate it.

I despise Walmart, I even pay higher for groceries at Kroger just to keep away from that place (actually Kroger is cheaper on meat here than Walmart), but some things are just so much cheaper at Walmart I have to go there. Like today.. UGH, it was terrible there. I have cut down on how often I go there though since I've moved further out of town and Kroger is just up the road from me. I can go a couple of weeks at a time now without having to step foot inside Walmart.

I have no idea nor interest in ohms. Stuff like that hurts my brain. If I ever had the desire to learn I'd ask my hubby, won't ever happen though.

NO..it is just simple math...nothing you don't learn your first day in algebra class. Learned ohm's law over 40 yrs ago, along with morse code, figuring out wire antenna length for given frequencies and all that fun stuff. It isn't anything scary and there are little circles to help you remember. It may be something new for some but they should just see it for what it is and enjoy learning new things.
