Nope, no TV, and I would hate having to spend so many Sundays in front of the TV if we had it! It also means summer is over, and we haven't had any summer weather here on the island. In the middle of August, we get cold northwest winds, the days get a lot shorter, and everybody leaves to get their kids back in school. It's so depressing!

To answer my own question: Yes. I don't pay much attention to teams other than the Chargers until closer to the playoffs, so I can afford a couple of hours a week. My wife likes it, too, and we often use it as an excuse to have people over.

Having two children of school age, I was well aware of back-to-school even back in June when school supply lists for the following year were sent home. The list this year was quite specific, however, so my wife has been keeping a close eye on sales at Staples and OfficeDepot as well. At this point, I don't think there are two many things left that we need to get.

Really? We didnt have the Internet when I lived there (wasnt invented by Gore yet.. ), but there was very, very little censorship.. Even live TV was a no-go most of the time according to mom
