Always been into reading about all things Roman, so that's where the interest in Scots law comes in. But I think the Celtic culture is just as interesting, but in totally different ways!

Japanese Fan dancing....Done by a Geisha....I love how this looks when done right....

The traditional Japanese fan dance is usually performed by a young woman, either singly or in a group of dancers. It involves using a hand-held fan as a prop. The dancers often wear brightly colored Japanese kimonos, and have elaborately arranged hair and bold make-up.

What cultures other then your own do you find most intriguing and why?

I find the American Indian Tribes most intriguing. Of what they've gone through & overcome, I really appreciate their true heritage and respect their being and I believe they have a true understanding of nature, beings & spirituality! If anyone hasn't, you need to go to the Black Hills Of South Dakota & learn from the human beings there, of the true history & the many Native American stories and what they've done and are doing now. The Crazy Horse Shrine is indeed a very interesting place to go there!

The Moors had a very (for the time) enlightened culture spanning the 8th through 15th centuries. Although vilified by the Christian European kings, their culture practiced religious tolerance as well as the storing of knowledge.

While my mother is from Austria (already posted), my father was from Italy (and my sister lives there). That said, there is still plenty about Italian culture I do not know.

I would like to see France & learn of the French Culture and all!
The Eiffel tower in Paris!

I've known a lot of Filipinos over the years but never learned much of the actual culture. Some of the food is great - Had a buddy and his wife made the best lumpia.

The Mayan Temple....what more do I need to say....it has a mysterious look and I would love to know the real history behind it. (maybe I should be like Indiana Jones)....I love knowing that is could be over 4000 years old...
