LOL. I dont think I will be selling it. Will have plenty of time to learn it this way. Someone that had an orion said they had the same issues I did when they had one, and the DID is so much more user friendly according to that person. So my luck should be better with that one. I hope.

DID can also look in euro sup section here on ecf the thread was at the top of the section yesterday. Its OOS now but shipping on the 8th. Shipped its a little less then $100. Brian already said he would buy mine when I have the same issue as the orion.No faith.... Im holding you to it Brian.

So with the money from the Orion I got the DID and what you see above. Plus I have like $40 left. I think I got a decent deal here. I was tempted to get the Cheap 1st edition 18650 ego mod for $10. But they have a second addition out now and I needed time to research it. So I went with VV that will match the attys. The lambo is chrome. Will get the Provari at tax time and just hope the lambo will last that long.

I would make a vid but I don't have a camera right now maybe in the future. The vids on my youtube where taken on my phone . Did you see the vid of my dog on the tread mill lol.that's how I walk him when I'm being lazy I put a leash on him a tie to it he loves it.
Hi everyone. I know I've not posted on here before, but I just got my v2 about 4 days ago and I've been playing with it and trying to catch up on the thread. I'm really loving this thing. Very sorry about your situation, Striker, but I've been there with other equipment--at least no one can say you didn't try.
I was wondering if anyone used their v2 exclusively in 18350 mode and had an "extra" extension tube. I've got an idea to make an 18500 mode and it starts with a spare extension tube

You said the SS tank was from SiamMods, correct? I'm assuming the glass tanks will work too? Any suggestions on fitting it? My DIY menthol is a tank cracker and want to vape it in the Orion... SS seems easier to work with so I may go that route, but I enjoy seeing how much juice I have left, I rarely let my tanks run dry.

Ok guys.... what's the trick to getting the tank off?
I've managed to move it either up or down a few millimeters maybe, but I just can't get the darn thing off.
And I think I need to re-wrap my coil and wick.
I think what's happening, and I could be wrong, is it's wicking so well with my higher VG juice that it gets too gunked up too fast.
I'll get a short time of good hits then my vapor production falls dramatically.
Or maybe my mesh wick is too thin?

I think that's it exactly. Whenever my vapour production falls off I take off the cap, hit the fire button and blow gently across the coils until it looks like my normal exhale. I put the cap back on and it's back to the freight train...
As far as the tank, I haven't got there yet. Got mine third-hand, and the original owner (according to the person from whom I got it) replaced the polycarbonate with fuzed quartz. He didn't bother matching the size very well because the cap only bites thread for half a rotation before it's tight, so I've got to sand it down a bit at some point ( and maybe see about sand-blasting a design to it while it's off)...
The acrylic tank is hard to get off/on. Try rotating it first, once it comes loose and rotates, then work it back and forth while pulling to take off. Do not pry it with anything other then a plenum like a guitar pick etc... When putting back on, lube the o-ring with a little pg or vg... The quartz tanks I have gone on/off very easy and the threads do not scratch it
The quartz tank on mine has proven to be very difficult to get off--but that's because it hasn't been empty since I got. I'm afraid it's going to be difficult for a very long time because so far the issue hasn't been a problem so the aesthetics are going to have to outweigh the vaping nirvana.
Or some other problem's going to have to pop up to where I can deal with the tank "while I've got it apart anyway"...
