Shoot me a PM if you want links to more info, but out of respect for Lord and for the mod maker, I can only send you links to what has already been posted by the manufacturer.

Hey thanks! I am a member over on the English speaking forum the mod maker frequents, and am very aware of what he is doing... Been following his progress (pretty much every day) since January or Feb when he made mention of these. Problem is I think he only has 25 - 50 avail right now, so I may or may not be able to get one. But sometimes 2nd or 3rd runs are better. I also have seen the videos that Del posted.

Am I on the right track Lord?

Yes you are :)

Ah. Looks very interesting, but I'm not sure how I'd get along with the switch--and I prefer larger batts--so it's been sort of to the left of my radar :)

Cool to hear that the initial posts weren't just "hype," though...

Yeah, I know what you mean. But I just found out from a friend who's been following the threads on this device a little closer than I have that the switch isn't a traditional automatic but rather it's manually operated by applying pressure to the mouthpiece, which depresses a spring that somehow makes contact with the ground post. Really creative concept, I know I couldn't have come up with anything like that on my own volition...

Ok. I need serious help.

I finally got it mostly apart.

I do not see a little black o ring anywhere and I cannot get the switch to slide out.

What should I do?

You need to remove all the nuts, washers, spring from the center post. Then with the switch facing down, push on the threaded post. It should pop right out for you.
Reason to have the switch facing down is so the "button" does not bind as the switch pcb is removed.

Yes, that was actually in the first post I saw about it over on a forum named after a part of a building. That's my point, though--I don't think I'd like that at all. It would seem more like chewing than vaping. I'm sure it'll be great for everyone else, especially after they minimize the pitting from the electrical problems of keeping the switch moist all the time. I'll admit it's quite creative, but it's no more an "automatic" than the Copper that you were supposed to push down with your lips. IMO.

Actually, it's the switch that removed my interest from it--too much to keep up with anyway, for my addled brain at least (and blue collar wallet), so I get rather nit-picky in order to narrow down my focus :)

I kinda like the idea of chewing to vape. As a former 3/day cigar smoker, it's more of a natural act for me, so I'm super excited to see how it works and even put my name down for one already.

Then it makes total sense for you. Twenty two years of unfiltered cigarettes, though, means I don't "chew" at all ;)

Sort of like when I see people complain about long pulls in videos: "raise you voltage, no one should have to suck more than a second or two to vape." One thing I like so much about the Orion is it's ability to handle the long drags since that's exactly how I smoked...

I agree, long slow pulls on it, it's relaxing to me.
Much better than pulling on it for 3 seconds until your mouth is pulled in like a fish on a carto.
My PV never used to leave my hands, now I can walk away from it and not think about it.

That is exactly what Petar said he was going after. He is apparently a cigar smoker and wanted to mimmick the experience in and e-cig. :)

The switch I'm not sure about. Dels' description of flavor put me completely off.

The flavor is much better once the setup is right. It took me a while to fine tune, but the flavor is not bad at all now. It was a little bit muted at first but now that I figured out how to get all the voltage to the coil the flavor is about the same as other Genisis mods with bored out air holes, with alot more vapor. It is definitely easier to activate with your teeth than your lips but I am working on correcting that on mine right now. :)
