I am having such a love hate relationship with my Orion right now. When it's working, man I just love it. Vaping this morning and I thought it was harsh, fine all day yesterday, fire it without the cap to check it out and the bottom coil is lighting up first, so there's a short. I try to move it with a needle and tear a small edge of the wick, so now's there's a small flap off mesh just hanging off between the first and second coil. It's definitely shorting now. So, looks like I'll re-wrap the coil.
With the tear in the wick, I think I need to use a new one. All I have are pre-rolled, pre-oxidized wicks from my Zenesis to use. The thing is, they are wrapped tight and are loose in the wicking hole, so the bottom of the wick touches the bottom of the tank, which I am trying to avoid. Wrapping the first wick and coil was such a headache because of this that I don't even feel like trying again right now. It's like suspending the wick off the bottom while trying to wrap it, and not get any shorts at all took me at least an hour.
Can I loosen one of my pre-rolled wicks to fit it tighter into the wicking hole?
I need coil wrapping and wick help....where's the dummies guide.
I also tried wrapping off of the device and then installing it, but it ended up being all loose, and it was a pain to try to get it under the ground screw.without ganking the wick all up.
How do you guys do this?
