I probably need a big pan to put on the kitchen counter top. I usually just lay out a spread of paper towels. There's usually a drop or two evident on the towels after a session. It's in the drip path of my 100mg/ml nic.

The upside is that anything left after I clean the counter top counts as pest control. PG and VG sweetness, and NIC attracts and kills bugs!

I remember reading a lawn care book written by a golf course pro grounds keeper who listed his personal recipe for an all in one liquid fertilizer and bug killer spray. He made it in 55 gallon drums. He'd buy a pound of cheap tobacco, boil it and pour the water into the drum. Put the tobacco into a nylon stocking and drop it into the drum for further steeping, along with a list of other ingredients that provide nitrogen and other fertilizers. He swore by its bug killing ability as well as the fertilizer properties of his other ingredients. He used it mainly on the greens.
I use a silicone baking sheet to mix on. I mix on my desk so it protects the wood. It stays out all the time & helps protect the bottoms of my mods. When it gets messy I just throw it in the dishwasher on the top shelf.

How is a high precision pipette different from a regular one?

Just like a Scale to weigh things, they just have a Higher Degree of Resolvable Accuracy.

I've got a Scale I stand on after I ride my Bike. Has an Accuracy of about .1 Pounds.

Got a Scale I weigh Postage with. It has about +/- .1 gram of Accuracy.

Got one that I measure Flavorings with. It can Resolve at about +/- .01 grams. The Accuracy is pretty close to that at all weights except at 0 to about 10 grams.

Your comment is making me re-think where I do my DIY! Currently if I have a spill, it will go all over the carpet

Yeah... It's like the Liquid Metal in that Terminator Movie.

Creeping along seeking out the Drawer Gap where I keep things that I Don't Want Liquids on.

I'm guessing a medical or restaurant supply would be he best place to find those metal trays?

I got mine at Target. Think it was about 8 Bucks.

It's kinda Thin. And a Tad Flimsy. But it doesn't Rust. And 8 Bucks is 8 Bucks.

Exactly! Also, im thinking that a cookie sheet with a lip would work ! I think they're technically called jelly roll pans

Absolutely. Just about anything that has a Small Lip on it will work.

I used to use a Cafeteria Tray that somehow got in my Rolling Briefcase after a Mid-Term I gave.

If I tried using a lipped trey when mixing, that would just be something else to bump knocking over anything and everything on it. Clumsy is as clumsy does.

You might be Surprised.

I wouldn't suggest something with a Tall Lip around it. Like a Casserole Pan. Just a Small Lip to contain a Random Chemical Spill.

Do you have Dollar Tree stores in CA? If you do, go check out the variety of low-lipped pans they have. Sure can't beat the price! They aren't SS, but can easily be washed and dried well to prevent rust down the road. Or, just get the stiff aluminum foil type ones...multiple pack for a $.

We sure do! Good suggestion! I think I'll run over there during lunch.

Just mixed up a half litre batch of unflavored to carry in the toolbox so I can play with flavors on the road. Mixing and carrying just 3 or 4 flavors was getting boring as well as wasting too much of my precious home time.

So after I did my unflavored I decided to see what I might be able to do to give the strawberry milk a bit of a boost using flavors I have laying around. Mixed this up,

2% OSDIY Strawberry Milk
.5% TFA Raspberry
.25% TFA Cherry Extract
.25% TFA Marshmallow
.25% TFA Dulce De Leche

Straight outta shake.... not bad. At least the (now mixed) berry flavor is a tad more prominent. May have overdone the raspberry but I know the milk and DDL will grow with steep. Time will tell.

Ooooh, sounds good! I REALLY needed something to help my OSDIY strawberry milk, so thank you!

I have both of those flavors. What percentages were you planning on using?
Probably 2.5% Blue Razz & .5% TFA Raspberry to start. I like very light flavors tho unless they're something thpethial like that watermelon we both crave. If you like lush flavors you could probably easily double my %s.

I admit, I do like flavorful juice. I'll double your numbers
