Yeah, I am liking the idea of better battery life, the ease of swapping batts on the fly and just not having to be so damn gentle with them! I am tired of breaking the VK batts and it's only going to get worse as spring comes and my crazy time starts again.
I know the VK1 is in the works, but I am afraid it will be a while.
I want tough, I want to drop it in a tree and have it survive, I don't think I will like the 18650 size, I want to be able to carry it in a pocket comfortably.
I want a recessed switch, I don't want it in my pocket going off! It MUST use protected cells!
Pretty doesn't count for ANYTHING! This WILL get the snot beat out of it! I want strong and tough!
Any suggestions?

Just for reference, me in a tree:

can't find it..the company that carries it bears a striking resemblance to the model that vapor4life carries just with an s on the end..

Edit: I suppose it's nice and all..my issue with the GG is the same one that we went round about way back when about fanatics...theirs are even worse and they're whiney about it...that and if you have to get it fixed you're shipping stuff to greece..

Yeah, Cari hooked me up, thank you!

SWEET JESUS! I don't want a piece of art, I want a tank! The GG is out of my price range, and "pretty". I think I'd break off the brass switch in less than a week!

Think of it this way, I am the guy that can break an anvil in the sand box! I do concrete, I do tree work, I drive 100 miles each way to cut a load of wood by myself, I weld in sandals, I have jacked housed up six inches to level them, I only own ONE stock chainsaw! I've come home and had to wring out my underwear after twelve hours in the sleet/freezing rain and snow.
I'm THAT guy.
