Yeah, i know, i made the beginner's mistake. But i just wanted to test the protection functionality of the eVic.
I drained the battery too far in my eVic and now it won't charge anymore. The eVic was indicating the 'Low Voltage' message and 10 remaining puffs. I was under the impression that it would shut itself down before reaching the dangerous battery Voltage level, but it didn't. I turned it off myself when it indicated only 1 puff left, took the battery out, put it on my charger. The charger indicated a full batt with its green light. Re tried it, same result. Then i put the battery back in the eVic and tried to charge it with the USB. No luck.
So it seems my Samsung battery that came along with the eVic is dead. It seems that there's only a warning in the eVic via its screen, but no protection shut off.
So people, don't rely on the eVic shutting off in time to save your battery and don't drain it. Learn from this sucker here!!

(Luckily my Panasonic batts arrived yesterday...)
