Hi everyone, my name is Squizzy and this is my first post in this forum.
I purchased the Vaporeso Revenger X about a week ago. It was working fine until day three where I find it is always timing out on me for anywhere between 5 and 15 seconds. Is this an overheating issue? I vape between 50 and 75 watts - set on normal - I have tried checking the coil is fitted correctly but am having a devil of a time unscrewing the base to have a look. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I don't understand what you mean when you say it is "timing out" on you. Do you mean to day it stops firing after some time? If so, it might well be overheating. Most of them now have a chip to sense board temperature. If so, this may be a bad machine. The Revenger X is a dual battery mod and should not be overheating at 50-75 watts. Hopefully somebody who has the machine will be along to help in a minute. Welcome to the board.

Yes it stops firing for a number of seconds, sometimes after three to five consecutive vapes. Shouldnt be overheating. Im dumbfounded and peeved.

Hi Squizzy. Welcome to the ECF.

Does this happen all the time? Or maybe just when the Batteries are Low?

And what Brand/Type of Batteries are you using?

Are you running it in temperature mode or wattage mode? And yes, what batteries are you using in there? It's possible they are severely underpowered for the device/wattage you are using?

It could certainly be a faulty device, that's possible, but more information is needed I think. Using wattage mode (60)

It happens most times randomly. Fully charged same issue. Batteries are samsung 18650.

Samsung makes a couple of Different types of 18650. Do the Batteries have any Printing on them?

Something like this...

INR18650-30Q

OK... well a INR18650-30Q is a 15 Amp CDR Battery. So you shouldn't have any problems at 50 ~ 75 Watts using them in that Mod.

And it does it randomly so it doesn't sound like it is a Low Battery Problem.

And you are Not using Temperature Control (TC), just regular Power Mode, right? So that doesn't sound like it is some Issue with TC.

Could be that the there is just something Wrong with the Mod.

Do you have a Vape Shop near you that you could take it to and have them Look at it?

Using regular power mode. If i was to use temp mode; what would be the temp I would set?

The Temperature people use varies from person to person. Depending on the Hit they want. Most people probably use a Temp somewhere from 380F ~ 460F.

But TC can be Finicky sometimes. Especially if you are trying to figure out if there might be some problem with your Mod in the 1st Place.

I do have differnt brands also as spare so I if i was to mix them that coukd be the issue also?

Yeah, I would Never recommend Mixing different Types of Batteries in a Dual Battery Mod.

When the Mod cuts out, how much time is there (average) between 2 Consecutive Hits?
