im a little overwhelmed with all the different brands, styles, methods, etc that go along with ecigs. with normal cigs, you just say gimme a pack of this, and you're good for a day and a half or whatever. so far ive bought two disposables ($9.99 and $6.99), both were garbage. then i got a non-disposable $20 green smart living (1 stick, 2 carts, 1 usb charger). this one is okay but requires a lot of charging and will only charge in a computer that's turned on and it cannot be used during charging. i want something better but there are so many out there. i came across this deal for $70 and i know of a 20% off coupon code so it's around $56. here is the link: GS Classic Kit

can anyway tell me whether or not this one is good or recommend something comparable in price that's better? thanks :)

Nope, don't buy that one either :)

I spent way too much money on two different brands of cig-a-likes and they are all sitting in the bottom of a drawer and never used.

Go here Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette and check our their kits, you will be much better off and save money both on the initial purchase and future supplies.

If you don't have your heart set on a small, cigarette type, LET US KNOW, there are many better solutions for you. If you are set on the look-a-likes, this will be a good place to start.

Post again and let us know what you decide!

Nope, don't buy that GreenSmoke kit.

If you really want an e-cig that is roughly the same size as a cigarette, check out the Volt from Smokeless Image. Just be aware the cig-size units will require a lot of charging because the smaller size means shorter battery life. Smokeless Image does give you the option of paying $1 more for the 78mm size, which has a better battery life.

If you can deal with something a little larger than cigarette size, there are a lot more and better options, although the Volt is supposed to be the best of the cigarette size units.

Oh, and don't believe the Greensmoke claim that one cartridge equals a pack of cigarettes. That is not true unless you typically light a cigarette and take 3 or 4 drags and throw it away.

I second the smokeless image suggestion. And you don't need to learn everything at once. You just need a decent product to get you started. This forum can be overwhelming for a beginner but the smokeless image volt will get you up and running and you can learn more later. I started with them and still use them occasionally, but I've also tried many other devices spread out over a year.

yes i've noticed that the supposed pack of cigs is more like 2 cigs with everything i've tried. frustrating.

I'am a fan of you tube info for pics. Also it seems A strong bat (long charge) easy fill for e-juice and looks of course. I like elite 808 but then I just got it after messing around with $18 here $20 there. Just get a nice kit for around 50-60 bucks and start enjoying. Oyea look for a rack to hold all those juices ya gotta try. Garage sales.

thanks for your response! what do they think about the $64.95 pro starter kit from the link you provided? and what about the $44.95 standard starter kit?

I went with the prostart kit so I would have the PCC portable charger [you can get the slider or the mega, pick the mega but both are good], you get 5 cartos with it and two batteries. Get the 78mm batteries and get one in automatic and one in manual so you can try one of each.Use YOURVOLT00 in the coupon code box for 15% off.

I picked the Volt because getting started seemed overwhelming. I can upgrade to a bigger battery and a passthrough thingey later. You can also get some other stuff that goes with the bigger battery later but the bigger battery works on the cartos you are getting with the pro starter kit. I can get sample packs of cartos. I can get refill bottles in the same flavors as the cartos so it was easy to refill them so I saved money.

I am happy so far after 5 days. I like it so much that I have put in another order for stronger juice [I am a heavy smoker] and the bigger battery and passthrough cord.

My suggestion if you are feeling overwhelmed is to think about this option since that is why I picked it along with the good reputation in customer service. I now have a basis for figuring out what juice works for me and I can always upgrade later as I get to understanding more about the products.

The ego thingey is popular too but I couldn't get a handle on it. Maybe I will understand it better later.

about to pull the trigger on this. for some reason the larger black batteries with purple led's don't cost more so i got two of em. either a glitch or theyre trying to get rid of them. used a coupon code to get 16% off. shipping is $3.89. good deal?

what do you want your e cigs to do?

think about what is important to you and focus your search based on that.

many people are happy with the volt but the small battery means more charging.

i wanted a close cigs experience that included not having to change batteries a lot or having to use prefilled carts. or having to fill them constantly.

i use both an ego c and a kgo. the batteries last until i get home from work. the c tank also lasts a full work day for me.

the point isn't that mine is the best but that my serpent works for me because i chose it based on what i wanted from a vaping experience.

ask lots of questions and read a lot of comments. and opinions about the different. set ups. good luck.

not sure why the pic came out so small...

@ zuzette, not really sure what i want cuz its so new to me. i guess the 4 biggest things would be long battery life, high nicotine and big foggy hits and half (or less) the price of traditional cigs.

Then talk to some people about other options. I thought you wanted easy and straight forward and to not be overwhelmed. The Volt is great but maybe not for you? Somebody explain the ego thingey to them:)
