Look at this as a starting point. The Volts were enough to get me to drop down to 3-5 cigs a day, then 1-2 a day, 1-2 a week, and finally none. Picking up an e-cig and never smoking again happens for some people.... but for the majority of us, it's a process.

There are devices with longer lasting batteries out there.... but I still regularly hand out my Volt 78mms to smokers for them to trial for a few days and get started. If they want to move up from there, you can get an X2 for $20 that fits all the cartos you'll have with the minis.

I own a Zenesis Mini (hybrid all on one unit with replaceable battery and rebuildable atomizer).... but when I leave the house, I'm carrying my X2s with clearomizers, and sometimes even the 78mms when I want to be less conspicuous. They get the job done.

ya i've gone from about 12 cigs a day down to about 3 a day using even crappier ecigs than the volt so i'm pretty confident i can get down to 0-1 with the volt. i have 15 cartridges on the way and i have a backup "green smart living" ecig that i can buy 5 carts for $12.99 locally as well.

Once you get it and figure out whether those carto flavors are good for you, be prepared to order some juice refills so you don't run out. Please report back and let us know how you like it once you get it.

thanks, i will report back after i have tried out the volt. i have (11) Ice Menthols, (1) Menthol Burst, (1) Mint, (1) Cappuccino and (1) Classic Grape so not a huge variety but a least a few to try out besides the ice menthol. the reviews are very good on all them besides menthol burst.

You made a good choice. I started with my kit 6 days ago...was a 3 ppd smoker. 4 cigs on day one, 2 on day 2, 1 on day 3, and no analogs for 3 days. It's so easy, even refilling cartos, I feel like a pro. Don't know if it's the best...just know it's working for me. BTW, I ordered one auto and manual. I find that I like the manual a whole lot better...just draws more like a regular cigarette.

i ordered two autos cuz thats what im used to. probably should have gotten one of each to see which one i like better.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I got the autos as well and they work great. I now have a couple of manuals but I still like the autos.
