Well I don't know about the US, but in the EU it seems Brussels is working hard to ensure we keep inhaling tar !

Of course they do, amunosy.

If we keep inhaling tar, we feed Big tobacco and Big Government (cigarette taxes)
We also feed Big Pharma, whether we want to or not.
IF we try to quit smoking, we purchase Big Pharma's costly and ineffective NRT's and other nonsense.
And then, failing to quit (95% failure rate, after all), we go back to feeding Big Tobacco and Big Government.
And if we do not try to quit smoking, we may get sick and die - feeding Big Pharma in the process and then - when dead - saving Big Government a lot of money.

It's a win-win situation.
The only one who stands to lose is the smoking - or currently vaping - human being.
But who cares about human life or human suffering anyway?

Not they. Because money talks. And that is all they care about.
After all, what's a few human lives, compared with millions of dollars?

To those not from Europe, these words may seem tough. Cold. Disillusioned. Full of contempt.
But to the vapers in Europe, this is our reality. Proven every day with more FUD scaremongering in the media. Proven by that completely nonsensical French "study" which originally claimed that e-cigs are just as dangerous as tobacco cigs (!) . And proven by the unspeakable attempt of the EU to practically ban e-cigs from the market, while the deadly tobacco cigarette is available at every street corner.

The only thing we want to do is live.
But nobody cares. Least of all those who claim - with sweet but poisonous words - that they do.

Did I ever tell you about my new colleague, Thomas?
About my age, a heavy smoker, and with a noticeable smokers cough.
He saw me vaping the other day and said that he had had one of those (= one of those cigarette-like "toys", I then found out), and that he stopped that and went back to smoking because of the "glycol". Because that "glycol" is poisonous, an antifreeze. (!) (That crap was spread by the German media for quite some time).
I told him a few things - about "antifreeze" and "poisonous" and about what is really in the liquids. And about the smoke of tobacco cigarettes.

He tried my PV, liked it - and then ordered some decent vaping equipment, having asked - and received - my advice on what is good and not expensive.
I saw him today, with his new vaping equipment. Gave him some of my "vanilla for pipe" liquid, he loved it.
And I sure hope he stays with vaping this time.

This is our reality in Europe.
This guy listened to a long and drawn out FUD campaign started by some Government agency in Germany, and spewn copy & paste all over the media. Even all over those publications that used to be serious and reputable. And he went back to smoking deadly tobacco cigarettes, for fear of inhaling a "poisonous antifreeze" (!)

This is our reality in Europe.
