Puleeeze do not start something that you cannot un-start. I love my P3 because it vapes like butta! Next thing well have threads with arguments about how the MVP cannot vape like P3 butta because it only has cottage cheese electronics.

Dude! The vape is smooth, but the clouds are totally chunky!

The P3 is here

Hay! I see not only P3 there I also see a lotta PB - as in the initials of a certain reviewer who has had one and shoves it in everyone's face, but doesn't allow them to touch it.

Lil' unintentional Freudian dig got slipped in there too? Some times a PB isn't just a PB.

I see...ummm...something different when I look at the new symbol. Freud would have a field day.

Actually if you just skootch the "3" over to the left a little bit - or just squint at it - Occy's Freudian slip is complete - she's got a love Jones for PB! Runs away! Runs away!

It wasn't a slip ;) PB? He's a little young for me.

Thass ok - it's easier to, ummm, "teach" the young ones. (Young cough HACK cough cough)

Serious question: Are you really gonna get a P3 anyway, eventually, if you are allowed? Or are you just P3'd off about the way ProVape handled this? That question should keep us out of the Lounge for a few more pages.

I have a lot of gear, so if I add something to my collection it has to be something unusual. The P3 doesn't fit my vaping profile. I don't care about the screen features and I don't vape high wattage on a regular basis. It's made by ProVape, so I'm sure it's terrific, but at the moment I don't need any unnecessary toys. I'm not saying never, but it's not something I'm currently planning.

'kay. I was just curious. On my own personal level - lot's of dittos. Already have a 2.5 - and an eVic - so I don't need to duplicate the durability/reliability of the 2.5, and the P3 features don't stand out enough compared to what an eVic already offers.

Ditto.

Pretty much word for word, actually.

But I LOVE these threads and wouldn't miss them for anything. The drama is always marvelous.

But...the PURPLE led? It means nothing to you?

I just want that top cap (actually a similar one, but that one will do) on my v2.5's. Highly doubt I'll ever get a P3 though. Other than that top cap it has nothing to offer me. Now if they release the ProVoop edition with joystick button & PacMan... I may have to reconsider. ;)

Floating pin - sounds handy, if it works and lasts
Batteries - eh, 650 too long for my pocket anyway
Higher limit - YES, once in a WHILE I want to use a dual coil under 1 ohm on my ProVari, and 20 watts should do it
Boost - YES, this sounds REALLY interesting, I'd love to try it and hear more reviews
Display - might like it, might not
Looks - Meh, tube with logo...hopefully we'll see colors (or special edition tubes - that should be easy) that'll make it more appealing to me

Personal bottom line - I kind of want another ProVari, but it's not urgent.
P3 will be a contender, but so will a Satin or Gunmetal Mini 2.5.

I think you did a good job of summarized a lot of what at least some of us feel. And to that point, I have to expect that Provape's target market is the 100-200% growth that many analysts are predicting for the market over the next 12-18 months. With almost-certain higher price point, it probably won't take a HUGE market share capture to exceed their sales to today.

If they were a publicly held company, and I was a stockholder, I wouldn't be giving too much thought to the existing market, but instead would be strongly focused on the future one.

And I'm NOT trying to project what they'll sell, only what they might be thinking. The bottom line is that we (current owners) probably represent a very small part of their thought process. And I'm perfectly OK with that.

I'll repeat what I said previously, but in reverse order. I owe them exactly what they owe me - absolutely nothing.

That being said, I'll be watching for their release of the black version. Or gunmetal. I'll know it when I see it.
