I just want that top cap (actually a similar one, but that one will do) on my v2.5's. Highly doubt I'll ever get a P3 though. Other than that top cap it has nothing to offer me. Now if they release the ProVoop edition with joystick button & PacMan... I may have to reconsider. ;)

The ProVoopi - lol

Jaded ProVari user: I don't see anything in the P3 that my V2.5 can't do just as well.
ProVape: We're coming out with a Provarinati Edition P3.

You need to go to your local Provari dealer and try out the P3. The boost feature alone is terrific. The menu is terrific. I'm definitely getting one and have actually already sold one of my 2.5 units to help pay for it.

My post above was a bit of a joke.

I don't need to try it out. I will call the dealer mentioned early in the official P3 thread and order it when they release. I can afford it, and I never bought a 2.5, since my 1.0 was "good enough," I'm looking forward to the upgrade, especially since my ProVari has largely been collecting dust since I got into mechs. This new ProVari will actually fire the coils I currently build.

Wow!! I read through five pages and couldn't find the review from the Beta testers!?!?!?!?!

But there were some interesting comments.....

You overestimate this sub-forum's complete inability to keep posts of the same topic in one thread or to stay on topic in any given thread. Although the latter is more of a board-wide problem.

I'm not a beta tester, but I did post this in the official P3 thread yesterday............

So, I got to play and vape on the P3 beta at my B&M. Somehow they didn't get the message that customers might come in and ask to try one. One of the guys who works there has had it as his personal device for a few days. But he graciously let me have it. And I have to admit I was VERY impressed. Here are my thoughts:

1. Build Quality: Just what you'd expect from a Provari. Feels great in my hands and everything screws in smoothly.

2. Menu System: I don't recall who posted in another thread that they thought it was awful, but I have to say I thought quite the opposite. The guy just handed me the device and I found the system to be quite intuitive and very simple to operate. I had to slow the screen down as I wanted to become familiar with the menu options, but they're easy to figure out, without a manual. The guy who was using it had it set to VW, and I quickly changed it to VV as I wanted to use the same setting I have on my 2.5. So, it was simple to switch to VV and set it to the same setting as I was using. Next, I wanted to see what the boost is all about. I was a little confused on this option, but I think I set the boost to about a second. I thought it interesting the P3 is a 3 click on as opposed to 5 click on with the 2.5. I liked that you can leave the screen on when you vape and look at your settings real time, or you can turn the screen off completely. And I liked that you can choose from a number of colors for the button, plus there's an option to let the device rotate through the colors with each push. That's kind of gimmicky, as I don't want my button to glow pink - EVER, but someone else might like pink. LOL

3. The Vape: Typically great Provari, but that boost, man that boost. It works. It works great. The flavor and vapor on my Nautilus Aspire, running BVC coils was even better.

4. My Verdict: A great device and now I want it even more than just from what I've read. I'm not a sub-ohmer, so I don't care if it's limited to 20 watts. That's more than enough power for the way I vape and then some. SO:

COME ON PROVAPE. RELEASE THESE THINGS ALREADY!!

That's a problem??

Where can I get a good Gouda?

I don't know, you should have plenty with all those happy cows that I used to hear about. All our cattle is for meat, not much for dairy farms around here. We do have a couple local places that do some awesome goat cheeses though.

(Ocey is going to kick both of our rumps) :D

Mmmm. Goat Cheese.

When I was a kid (pun!) my house would usually have in stock a bunch of this goat cheese they'd get from Norway, some kind of brie, some kind of swiss, and I recall sometimes getting half a wheel of cheddar that had to be 40 pounds...

The cats preferred the goat cheese. I like it all.

I think I must have gotten some bad goat cheese. The one and only time I tried it, it was solid white and tasted like moist chalk.

But...the PURPLE led? It means nothing to you?

But it's just the button! How often do you look at the button?

As Oz said, the flat top is nice, but I'm okay with using a ring. I have some 19mm tanks I use sometimes and what would they look like with the flat cap?
