I'd be surprised to see Provape come out with a trade in program. They're not likely looking to take products back. But a Provari should be VERY easy to sell. I wasn't really looking to sell my 2.5 until I had the P3 in hand to be honest. I was just outside vaping with a fellow outside my office building and he knew I was in love with my 2.5 and I told him about the P3 and that I planned to get one. He asked what I'd do with my 2.5 and I said that since I had two, I'd sell one. He opened his wallet and paid me on the spot for my 2.5, so I took the battery out, unscrewed my nautilus and went back to my office where I had my other 2.5 in my briefcase waiting for me. I brought him the box the next day. Probably the easiest thing I've ever sold. Ever! He also bought my Kangertech Mega for exactly what I paid for it. It was just siting at home in a drawer collecting dust since I discovered how terrific the nautilus/BVC coil combination is.
I know exactly what you mean. I kind of went banana sandwich after I got my Standard Satin Black ProVari. When my tax return came I got kinda crazy. Bought a Satin Silver standard as the black's back up. Then I got a used Blue on the classies for no other reason than I liked the blue LED.
So here I am with three standards and I'm thinking to myself...what am I doing???. I had fallen in love with the look of my Satin Silver with my Kayfun so that one was a keeper. I offered a trade on the classies straight up for a mini. Someone took me up on it and traded their satin silver mini straight up for my satin black standard. It couldn't have worked out better. I got a finish I preferred for my attys and he got a 20 dollar paint job for free. Well now I had a spare Blue, and I simply resold that on the classies for what I paid.
Never lost any money on any transaction I had with a ProVari, so I think selling my Satin Silver standard for $100.00 should be pretty easy to do when I pull the trigger.
Of course I'll have to disclose it's the same unit I intentionally dunked in a glass of water for my ProVari challenge, but It's still working so I think I'll be ok......
