So yeah, simple question. Would you rather have the segmented tubes that we've all seen for the P3 so far, or would you rather have a single telescopic tube like on the sigelei 20w and a plethora of other devices?

Personally I'd rather have a telescopic tube. There is nothing better for eliminating battery rattle imo. Not only that, but it just seems... classier. Most Vamo units are segmented, and they're all pretty cheap. Higher quality units tend to adopt the telescopic variety of tubes. For a device like the P3, it just seems like a no brainer to me.

Telescopic or go home.

But what do you all think? What would you prefer?

Segmented.
It is great they all work together! I can finally have a 18650 tube with a flat bottom end for my provaris.
I don't have to buy from vendors that are always sold out to get a ring to use a bigger battery.

Great thing Provape! Great move!

I don't have to use the rounded extensions. I disliked them. I did use them on my minis but wasn't fond of it.

Telescopic is what I HATED and LOATHED about my SVD.
The SVD flexed I was always scared I would strip the threads screwing the extension back together on the SVD.

Color me confused. Why do so many people like the Twins telescopic extension then?

I never did and never bought one myself. I use the Tatroe Mods extension rings or Provape extension cap.

If I recall, the Twins was the first 3rd party attachment to allow the use of an 18650 battery in a mini. It was a limited production item and was frequently out of stock, so other vendors took advantage of the situation and offered other choices...better looking choices.

I got the Twins with a ProVari I bought on the classified. I recently sold it as it wasn't being used much. I, too, am not a fan of telescopic mods, although I do own a few of them. I now prefer segmented. I like to have the ability to choose what battery size I want to use and just switch out the tubes as needed.

I like the segmented rings a lot better than telescoping...

FWIW, for folks that like a Twins type setup, it should fit on a P3 same as it does a ProVari Mini.

I don't like them for the same reason many people here have mentioned... It takes away from the uniform look of the mod.

Only down side, for me, would be that I might lose a ring some day... That would stink!

On the up side... Because ProVape is now including the rings with the P3, you are going to get color matched rings! One of the things I never really liked about the Tatroe rings, and even the rings from Kir Fanis were that they never looked right. I don't want a black or red or whatever color you get and half of it is the color you bought, and the bottom section is brushed stainless. That just looks off to me.
