Segmented.

Telescopic always brings the risk of over tightening. If you snug tighten, you are over compressing the spring and thug can put too much force on the PCB.

sigelei's are infamous for this.

Segmented, as much of a PITA it is taking tube sections in and out, always ensures that you are not over compressing the spring and thus causing damage to your mod.

Add me to the Segmented group. I had a SmokTech telescopic and didn't care for the telescope at all. If anything, it caused indents in the battery when I tightened it. Oh sure, I likely over-tightened it, but at least with a Provari, that's not possible and I'm sure Provape chose this because it's safer for the battery and after all, Provape's all about safety.

Segmented. No moving parts, no worrying about whether you have it 'set' to the right length. No worrying about something coming loose and the telescoping no longer holding tight. Various other problems could arise with the telescopic design.

Telescoping does look sleek and modern though, and you don't have to carry/worry about losing extra parts if you want to change the battery.

But segmented is still more solid in my opinion.

I dunno. I just couldn't disagree more with the segmented crowd. :p

I've never had a bad telescopic mod. The SVD tube does wiggle, I'll give you that. But being able to use any battery at any time without having to change out parts is so nice. And my Sigelei 20W tube is straight as an arrow, doesn't have any wiggle when you've got a battery installed, and works perfectly. Never had problems with damaging the boards in either, or the batteries for that matter.

On the other hand segmented tubes, like my Vamo, accumulated wear differently. The main body of the tube was starting to get wear on the back of it from setting it down flat on my desk, but the extension tube still looked new, making the whole thing look... off. Same goes for my mechs like my Stingray. I usually use it in 18650 mode, so the main tube and the 18650 extension have the same patina, but if I use the 18500 tube there's a very clear difference.

But hey, to each their own right? I'll be on the lookout for a telescopic tube that matches the P3 main tube. ;)

Already done!

Twins (telescope extension for Provari)

I would imagine the Twins will fit a P3, since the battery caps of a ProVari fit the P3 just fine...

I already have Twins on my Mini I just bought off the classies and I love it. ;)

I'm just hoping someone will come out with a telescopic mod that will match the P3. Kind of why I hope Provape will make a telescoping extension when they start releasing new colors. A gunmetal zenkote P3 with matching telescopic would be AWESOME! I'm just not holding my breath on that happening though...
