I watched PB review,i got mine in yesterday.

None of my Kayfuns will sit flush there is a very slight gap, took the centre post completely out and they won't fire.

There's a lip on the top of mine from the door and I can't move mine down so the lip is on the bottom.

My coils are reading the same as my Provari which is good enough for me as I don't HighWatt/Sub.

I was bothered about PB's continuing to fire with the touch button at Low Battery so I tried to do this.

Same here,it's an odd extra second before it stops and wouldn't you know it does the same with the normal button. This was after I had seen the first 'Low Battery' warning.

I continued to fire for as long as it would let me and within about a minute it started to constantly show the low battery warning,it wouldn't fire.

Using it at 9w at the end, like PBs it started to show 10w instead.

And no glue, bent door etc on mine,i like the touch button. For it's money I think it's fab,so much so I'm thinking about a silver one :)

Edit. Yes it's light, I managed to have a rDNA in my hand the other day and that for me is too heavy. Shame.

If anyone is bothered by the USB port being on the bottom of the device, I had a similar circumstance on the MVP 2.0, as someone just mentioned a few posts back, they're identical in having the USB port located there. I wanted to use mine with an atty connected while at my desk, and sometimes "using it" involved charging.

I made a quick and dirty "dock" where I took a box about 1.5 inches tall, just tall enough to have a Micro USB connector vertical without a kink. I put a hole in the side of the box and another hole in the top of the box, ran my USB cable in the side and rolled it up then poked it out the top.

I did this on a Saturday morning at work so I could just grab it, take some toots, and set it back down, without connecting the charge cable every time and interrupting my workflow.

I know it seems like common sense but I thought I'd post it in case it inspires some people to think outside the box (pun not intended but it works there) and maybe create some things for themselves and or the community and to profit. This box mod could be a game changer just from the perspective of people realizing the power they're capable of along with the price and ease of operation, so it may be worth manufacturing accessories like charging stands, cases, etc.

I don't have one but I think can't put the lip of the door on the bottom...and even if it fits the mod won't stand on its base.

You can, and the lip is so slight that it'll still stand.

Although I would always put mine on it's side anyway, as I never wanted it to accidentallly get knocked over - which is also why I don't mind the USB port on the bottom.

Have you done it?..can you post a picture?

I did, but can't take a picture as I no longer have my iPV, although I'm waiting on the arrival of another one.

I also saw it in a youtube video, so I'll see if I can find it.

Found the video. Go to the 17:50 mark here:

Another update: I noticed that there's a faint click simultaneous to the screen lighting up when firing the mod. You have to put it really close to your ear to hear it, at least on mine.

Anyone else get this? It's somewhat similar to the sound you get with a spark. [emoji43]
I noticed that noise when the screws on my trident came loose, when I pushed the fire button and it wasn't contacting anything it would make that click right when I pushed it. But it only does it if the dripper is on there, but isn't screwed down. I'm at work and I think I've said before that I just have a pro tank or nautilus on it at work because people constantly stopping to ask me questions about my setup gets annoying. Anyways, when I took it off and tried it didn't make that noise like it did with the dripper.

Edited to explain myself a bit better.

rounding third and heading home...
i know it's all subjective but...i just tried a delta tank on the ivp at 20 watts and all i can say is....WOW. by far , the best vape i have ever had....for the first time in my vaping life i am totally satisfied without the need to hurry up and order something else or chase the next "best" thing. can't address the long term- right now it is perfect for me. the ipv and delta has produced the smoothest , dense, and not-too-hot vape in a pre-built tank/coil....just what i have been looking for......finally

FYI the manual states that it is not recommended to use the IPV2 while charging. Do this at your own risk.

Mine does it with and without a topper. I find it a bit odd. It only goes away when the mod is locked or turned off, so it's definitely not from simply pressing the button.

Update: My firing button has already recessed on one side and is a little wobbly now. Not too sure how that's gonna hold up after a few weeks, and I've only had it for a day. Hopefully it won't be an issue in the long term.

Anyone having an issue, use the warranty. If my buttons start to go south I will be sending mine in and getting it right.

I just checked mine for you. I think I hear what you're talking about, it seems a lot like the screen getting power is where it's coming from on mine, or at least theres a correlation, there's a lot that happens at the same time as the screen lighting up. My DNA (evolv not a clone) makes a similar noise except under different circumstances. It startled me a bit at first because it was new, but for months it hasn't changed or caused a problem so I just attributed it to power flowing through at the 510 connection. On my DNA box mod, you can hear it when connecting or disconnecting an RDA when the contact is making "contact" but not firmly attached. I can just some more testing later to try and give you a better idea exactly where it's coming from. At the moment Im stuffiing my face with meatloaf at work. I just wanted to reply and let you know that yes I'm getting it too, I just don't see it as a problem. Heck if it revved up and flames shot out the vents when I vaped I wouldn't mind lol.

The faint click is more than likely this contact(image of a simple boost regulator):

I've noticed the internal plastic housing makes almost the same click, but it is a noticeably different sound.

Had my first day with the IPV2 today, first mod I have used besides the MVP2 so its def a new experience. VTC5 lasted almost all day with charging here and there at the desk at work then dying when i got home and played for a few hours. Also picked up some 90 VG /10 PG juices at the local vape shop and they def made some clouds in this machine. Good day lol

May I please make a request that anybody who is kindly contributing and mentioning about how long their xxxx battery lasted in the device also follow up with what ohm they were at and what wattage? This could help everyone start to find the best balance between battery use and power and better understand the overall usage of the device. Thanks!

So I may have found a simple solution for the screws on the back door. I ordered knurled screws for my Kayfuns 2 days ago from FatDaddyVapes.com - Home of the best vape tweaks and replacement hardware. - Home . These are made so when building the Kayfun you do not need a screwdriver and you can just spin them in a lot quicker. Well it just popped into my head that the screws on the back door are the same exact screw. So I only have 2 Kayfuns and they come in a pack of 6 so ill have 2 left over for the ipv2. Yes they will stick out a little on the side but if it makes it easier to take them out I will not mind. For $5 I think it may be a great solution. I will post picks as soon as they come in. Lets keep our fingers crossed!!

Just got mine today. Everything seems to function as advertised. I turned the touch censor off as I like having a finger cupped over it while holding it. The ohm reader is dead on with my meters. The battery plate closes well but does hang over on the bottom a fuzz. Most of my attys sit flush so far. Looks like a great bang for your buck type product. Super comfortable in my hand. I got it from Eciggity. Ordered it on late sunday night (12am ish) It shipped Monday from Hawaii and I got it today. So far so good.
