I've been leaving my cover off at home. If it might be a nasty day at work, I'll use both screws, but I've been using one screw...mainly cuz I lost my last fogger screw, but I have one of the original screws in currently..
Only thing that makes me nervous is if it fell on it's bottom just right....

I'm rocking a single coil at 15-30watts..cuz I don't have the money for vendor liquid/don't have gave DIY stuff yet..when I realized I'm pretty much out of liquid, I stopped using large dual/or more coils at 50 Watts.
Oh kiwi..I got my Gus kiss qe.. check out the thread lol. I was so excited..no estia.

Hahah nice!!!! The kiss qe is sick. I was decidin between that and a GUS lord but ended up buying the latter. Looks like we have similar tastes in mods
I did end up pre-ordering a sigelei 100W thoWell I tried the one screw approach last night. My Stillare is too wide to allow me to flip the door enough to get the batt out, so I just took it off again.

Well, have the same "issue" with my TOBH, too. But I decided for myself that I prefer to unscrew the atty instead of remove the screws every time I'm changing batteries...
Well, actually I'm waiting for my GI2 clone to come which will have a backplate to slide on and off...I wonder if this is better though it doesn't have magnets, also...
Well, what's the difference if you use screws which are a bit shorter?
Have ordered a pack of 25 screws M1,6 x 4mm and the fit better then my kayfun screws.
I am loving mine so far. The door is perfectly flush. The only issue I really have is that none of my attys sit flush and none of them work with the brass screw removed from the 510. I have read through the whole thread and did not seem to find a solution to this. Perhaps I missed it...any ideas or solutions?
Ha, using my Kayfun last night on the iPV with a 1.5 build and i got a ( low res ) message , didn't know what to make of it but eventually i figured out it was a defective adapter , i put the Kayfun on the Cana and it just read check atomizer.

I just started DIY juicing and i am "juiced with excitement" to say the least . Never realized how easy it was and how cheap it was , i have all my favorite flavors and more juice than i know what to do with for essentially peanuts .
Can't believe i was actually paying $11.00+ for 20 ml . The cost for me now for the same amount is measured in cents not dollars.
Take the plunge it's worth it.

Safety flaw on mine:
Short-circuit protection isn't working on my unit. It never says check atomizer when there's nothing attached either. More importantly, it continues to fire when shorted unless the short causes the resistance to go below .2ohms, in which case the "low res" error comes up.

I'm not getting it.. In a true short circuit resistance is just about zero, so the reported behavior seems consistent with a working short circuit protection.
So effectively if it detects a true short, it should just display "low res"? What I tried is I used a tweezer between the + and - posts on an RDA. On my other regulated mods, this causes them to stop firing (e.g. MVP), but the IPV just ignores it and continues on.
I don't own an IPV2 yet, thus I'm not sure about the exact message it spits out with a short, but it'd seem reasonable to show 'low res' in such a case.
As long as it stops firing when resistance is below the vendor declared minimum value, it should be ok.
