J-wrap...I was led to believe that the cutouts were left on the page they send..cuz I wanted the plastic side covered.. and I wanted to see if the touch screen can be covered by part of the wrap..

Herb...in case you have tapatalk.
Yeah....it's not for lighting for the touch sensor....

I've only seen one picture that it looks good in sunlight... with the silver color, but it's still a useless piece of plastic...:/

I'll just print out some vinyl if they don't sort it out...

I was specific with my inductions. The designer was lazy with the 13point bolt. That was suppose to cover up the stupid plastic thing. I could've done what I got...lol. I paid $24 for two- pieces of printed vinyl- with graphics however I want, and not sent to me until approved. I didn't approve...lol double-you tea F.

Weird ...

My battery sag monitor hits rock bottom when I try to fire my 0.6 ohm load @ 50 watts. Using a Sony VTC5 I got just a few weeks ago.

Anyone else get major battery sag @ 50 watts?

EDIT: Popped in another VTC5 I've had for a few months and it's not bottoming out. So apparently it's just the battery. Perhaps older stock even though I bought it only a few weeks ago. (Although from what I hear ... all VTCs are old stock)

Probably just a mix up with firmware then. What about when it detects a short?

It reads "short or shorted " can't remember .

Oh , thats unfortunate .

Despite not being exactly what you wanted it still looks very nice. That strip of plastic has little bubbles or circles all over it on mine , even with the plastic film off.

If you look close enough they are actually stars. Personally I could do without that whole "window", it does nothing and we already have their logo on the door.

It reads low res for shorts.

I know. It looks great, but I wasn't rushing them. I wanted it perfect, and how THEY said it would come. With the print out...nothing gets sent without my final say..

I wish there had been a review when I ordered. You must have missed my post where it was applying 8.5V to a .6ohm coil read to be 4.3ohm. Wide open is an exaggeration. I am happy you got that. What do you call 8.5V? My loser won't recognize any atomizer now and is awaiting return shipment Monday morning. I simply expect something to work longer than 24 hrs. Pardon me that may be an exaggeration. At least 24 hrs. Mine is lot #LO321. The plastic case mine came in was cracked on arrival. Evidently, it took a whallop somewhere on its way here. Not sure what the vendor will do as it hasn't responded to email yet. They are getting it back anyway. I would accept another or credit for some other box.

If you read this forum you will know this device is just reaching circulation. Not many out there over two weeks old. This thread was to share your experience with the iPV v2. Mine sucked. I hope this is an isolated incident and others perform as intended. Also, easy to confuse sx330 with sx350 which is updatable. Beyond that no reason to be so snide.

Sent the defective mod back to Vaportek Monday and received a replacement in Saturdays vapemail. I call that fast service. They have done right by me on preorders and quite admirably with a replacement device that works incredible. I am thoroughly impressed with the iPV v2 performance. It has the DNA30 board whipped. The power comes super fast. Ability to go lower resistance than I dare. Well after a 24ga. build I will let you know. Seems Vaportek caught some bad rap earlier in the thread. In some ways I can understand their frustration. They have done a tremendous job of bringing some incredible devices . Priced righteously and are cutting edge of whats been available. Just my two cents on dealing with them. The problem I have with them is offering so much new stuff that you want another and another new mod. I have two dna20, two dna30, and now a sx-330. I'll have to get an sx-350 and a dual 18650 mod next. Maybe one with both features. Vapedom is expanding rapidly and is anything but boring. Its great to know lives are being changed and possibly saved along the way. The ECF has given me so much more than just information on vaping. Support from members is phenomenal and on a global level to boot. Our voice can now be heard as one and maybe the big bad wolf will get winded blowing down a house made of stone, back-up batteries, wire and cotton. Happy Vaping Folks!

Just ordered an IPV 2 from Wetvapes along with a Magma and a Plume Veil. I just hope I don't get a lemon like Phil's. :)

I tried a Plume Veil clone at my B&M yesterday, very good atty. Gonna pick one up and a Vulcan. Deeper juice wells are what this awesome device needs to be happy ;)

At least to make me happy, my Stillare leaks terribly :(

I understand , despite people saying it looks great , to you it's not what you were expecting and it should or could of looked even better if they followed your exact instructions , very understandable actually .

Holy cow , what a complete turn around . The above highlighted is only a problem for us , you need to exercise restraint if it becomes a problem with wallet control , i think most of us suffer from the same issue . When and if i find myself pushing a shopping cart along the freeway picking up cans and bottles i'll seek rehab.

Does anyone know if on the new upgradeable chip if you could update the firmware to display ohms to the 1/100th?

Would possibly be a bit hard to do with the screen size. They'd have to do a new screen that is larger/capable of showing that much info on the screen. Unless they come up with some other way for them to show the ohms just by itself for a little bit on the screen.
