Oh OK , i thought so, it's not possible to fool you , should of known better lol. Doesn't anybody offer those types of screws but with a penny size circle for grip , that would be ideal .

I wonder if someone can drill a hole in something like a penny slightly smaller than the grippy part of those screws and tap them solid with a hammer to have a much larger gripping surface.

HA that would be awesome. It'll be sweet if somewhere actually sells a screw that kinda looks like a nemesis positive pin. Extra wide notched heads. But alas. I'm gonna hafta make do with the current one.

Haven't had a need to use it much though. I used it ytd, and then left it to charge overnight.

Oh also, I spent 2 hours checking the voltage output across 0.5 ohm, 1 ohm, 1.5 ohms, and at voltages above 4V.
Using 3 different inline voltmeter (generic one), the ipv consistently fires 0.05 to 0.18V higher than it should. Not too big a deal for me, but yeah. Jus for folks to know.

They offered to redo my custom wrap...it's honestly worth it to get a custom wrap...cuz you get two(I was told at least 90% of the time this is the case), and they will get it perfect for you...solid company.

Getting two would make a difference to me , i just think their prices are steep for one as it's easy to mess it up when applying (at least for me) .

What i really would like is a heavier duty case like a Life proof case for these , now that would interest me .

The battery life with this has been way better than my KSD hana modz v3 clone. I just went 2 and a half days without having to charge/change the battery when I'd have to do it pretty much daily with the KSD. The battery wasn't even drained completely and I just changed it since I was trying out different screws on the back plate. I'm using VTC5s and have been vaping between 22 and 28 watts like I normally do.

Yeah , i noticed that immediately . My Cana mod doesn't seem to be nearly as efficient with battery longevity as the iPV.

Well got mine this weekend. Popped a vtc5 in there and it didn't turn on so changed to another vtc5 and it turned right on. Screwed in a kayfun and the 510 connection popped out. Not the pin but the whole connection, guess it wasn't pressed fitted like it was supposed to. Sucks I have to send it back for repair.

Do you mean the whole assembly, threading and all? That really sucks.

Anyone else's finish turning sparkly/glittery after a couple weeks of use? I'm thinking of sanding the finish off, eventually, coz of this.
When I first got mine, I described the black as being more of a blue hue carbon, with some diamond/sparkle through out it@brand new.

Just pulled the trigger on one of these devices. I had a chance to handle one in a B&M and it seemed really nice. The B&M wanted $125 for the unit and it was branded to hell with their logo. I asked if they were flexible with the price. The sales person said no and so I took my business elsewhere. Can't wait for my vape mail to arrive!

Is it even legal for companies to put their logo on it without P4Ys consent? I suppose people put their own logo on wholesale clothes all the time, and alot of companies do it, just seems weird to me that they can do that.

I'm sure it is somehow as some of these manufacturers offer engraving to their wholesalers. It was a P4U box for sure as the P4U logos were still there but on the side the box was engraved so deep with the store logo that it would take a pound of putty to fill it. I don't like the company in general because of their high prices and there is no way in hell that I would purchase a box with their logo that takes up about 3/4 of the panel. I definitely will not be their billboard.

I was in a group buy and P4U engraved at no extra cost

Yes I have the black and my finish is coming off already in a few spots. The roughest thing mine is exposed to is the inside of my pocket, haven't dropped it, haven't had juice leak on it at all, and I don't put anything else in the pocket with it yet the finish is coming off.

It doesn't bother me at all actually I wouldn't mind if it went down to bare aluminum altogether. I can see it bothering some people though.

PS
As the paint starts to wear off it looks "sparkly" in that spot, almost like highly metallic flake paint, more so than the rest of the paint. This is simply because the paint is very thin and you are starting to see the bare metal underneath.

The paint really is garbage though to wear off this fast. They could have just colored the outside with black permanent marker, it would have lasted longer and actually been black.

Thats exactly what i would have done , you did the right thing by asking . Many times if you say i will make you a one time offer (since i am not from around here and am leaving the day after tomorrow) they will make the deal , just don't be too insulting .

I was at my B&M, where I got my IPV2 50 and the owner and several others have reported their units auto firing without anything touching it. I asked if the touch fire sensor was on ( I don't use mine ) and they weren't sure so they are no carrying them anymore. Since I have 30 days to exchange for something else, i am thinking of taking it back this weekend and getting a Authentic Flagship Copper mech ( same price ) and wait for the IPV3 or Segelei to get to market.

I wish we had some definitive dates for when these things will be released. I would rather have a 2 batt device.

Dont get me wrong, I have not had 1 problem with mine outside of the wonky ohm reading. I cleaned and rewicked my coils and now it is reading prefectly, so maybe it is that. I like having a high powered regulated device.

I want to get 1 good mech anyway and I can just use the flagship until the next unit is ready I guess. I paid full boat 129.99 for my IPV2, so I am thinking if the Flagship is $130, I swap and wait the month or 2 until the next IPV3 units arrive.

If I keep it, I will never be able to sell it for anything close to what I paid when the new ones come out. I think the Flagship swap ( based on my costs alone ) is the best bet in my situation.

But I want to know what do you guys/gals think?

AND I just ordered my Vulcan clone and a Copper Tugboat clone. Copper should be to me by Friday ( will look reeeeeeeal good on that Flagship )

But I ordered the Vulcan for the IPV, cause it has top and bottom heat sinks and deep just well. They have the Vulcan clone at Vaportek, got the Copper Tug from 101vapes at a great price!!!

So torn about keeping this or swapping and waiting for the 2 batt device. My VCT5's last 1/2 day of heavy vaping with my IPV.

I knew it would happen , just not this early lol. All you have been telling everybody is how much you love it , i would not worry about the auto firing , it's only been mentioned when juice has leaked and the touch sensor was set to "on" to my knowledge .

Oh, by the way , the Magma is fantastic .

I agree Herb, but I am thinking from a cost savings standpoint. I really need a 2 batt device for my vaping needs and batt consumption AND I already was planning on getting the mech. Can swap IPV out and then get the new 2 batt one in a month or so. I am basically at Zero if i do that, as the authentic mech isn't going down in price.

I do love it and use it every single day!!! It is charging as I vaped on it my whole lunch break with my buddy at a local bowling alley ;)

Clouds of taste... Decisions, decisions
