Woohoo got my batteries this morning! Those are some big honkin' batteries! All 4 of them were at 3.6V, so I guess I'll have to wait a little for them to charge before slapping them in the Provari.

Yeah, stick them on teh charger and forget about 'em for a while. First charge at least seems to take a good 5 hours, at least on my 500mA charger -- half that I suppose on a full 1A. Once charged though these things will kick out the power for a good long time and have no trouble delivering the current. I love these in my ProVari.

Awesome! I like the Xtar in theory, but I hate those little shims you have to put in to charge different sizes. Honestly, what was wrong with spring-loaded contacts?

Oh, crap. I seriously hope it's not this s*** again. There's still a chance it might show up if they scanned it prior to leaving the depot (as I'm told they do if the driver doesn't have a handheld to take with him) so let's hope that's what's going on here.

You did a great job and you have a great Canadian base of supporters here that understand and respect what you have done for us. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your efforts for stepping up to do this co-op and I do hope that you can represent us again. Shek is great and hopefully he'll let you piggy back off of more of his future coops for us Canadians because it seems that it ran rather smoothly. Although he does seem to be willing to include us in his next co-op... ;-)

That doesn't make it any less nervous though -- the last thing I want to do is screw up a big responsibility to a lot of people. I love being part of this community and having some small roles in it, so if I made some major screw up I'd feel like I'd be forever walking around here with a big neon L on my forehead.
