Thanks Thrasher! This is the most comprehensive and accurate 'vaping explained' video I've seen. Might be a bit too technical for a lot of newbies, but hey, people can fast forward and always come back to it when they are ready for more info.

Very good video - as are all of Phil's videos. One nit, however, I think the last half of the video would be overwhelming for many true beginners.

Perhaps we need to distinguish between types of beginners? I love to tinker with things and I love to know as much about something as I can. I recently introduced my Mother In Law to e cigs and she is the opposite. She wants to give up smoking but the technical aspect of e cigs is overwhelming for her. She needs a video more like "stick this end in your mouth", lol.

I have more than once tried to vape mine the wrong way around. The second half is a bit more technical. I agree - there are different types of beginners, and some already have a some background knowledge or experience that leads them straight to more advanced ecigs. I think its the sort of video people could go back to again later for some parts if they don't get them first off. Or they just take the parts that help where they are at.

Great vid for what it is, but my observation is that most noobs need "how to" vids as much if not more than "what is" vids to get started.
Classic example:
Who here knew how to fill a cartomizer without being shown? Most first time users by prefilled cartos, and toss them when they run dry.

well like it say in the title and on the webpage it's more a beginners guide to the tech, like to help with all those why do i need VV and what does VW do etc.

Even though I'm far from a noobie vaper (or so my bank balance tells me), I watched the whole thing all the way through and I think it is excellent as a clear explanation of the lingo and jargon that seemed so foreign to me when I was first starting. No, it is not a "tutorial" or "how to" for all the terms and pieces of kit described, but it is a swell intro to the vaping vocabulary so the new vapers can more easily understand the tuts and how-tos they will later see ...

The one improvement I would make to the video is a "where to next?" segment, with links to the many excellent tutorials Phil has done on such noobie activities as filling cartos, cleaning and rebuilding Vivi Novas, etc. I would hope that he might put together a complete "PBusardo Tips and Tuts for the New Vaper," of which this would be a good intro ...
