Glycerin is also a laxative, it depends on the quantities you intake. I recall Kent C saying the PEG has higher TH than PG. I haven't used it myself, and don't know if Kent said anything about vapor production. In an old thread it was said PEG has a noticeable taste to it like Triacetin does, unlike VG or PG.

PEG is available in a wide variety of molecular weights (how many ethylene glycol molecules "hook up" in the POLY part of Poly Ethylene Glycol).

PEG 400 has a molecular weight of 400, is the "weight" of vapable PEG, and is ingested through the lungs.

PEG 3000 or so is the PEG used as a laxative. It has a molecular "weight" of 3000 or so (much heavier) and is swallowed. It is not a drug causing a laxative action, it is a bulk laxative (provides matter that the digestive system cannot absorb and must move through the system).

Vaping PEG 400 won't cause any laxative action because it isn't present in the bowel and doesn't act through the blood. PEG laxatives are VERY effective. Ask any colonoscopy patient just how effective ;)
