Ooops this may open up a long debate. Mayn researches say that silica / fiberglass is not good for your health in long run. But all of these were done in dry environments testing the air pollution of different factories.
We can just hope that if it is well soaked that tiny little practicles will not fly down right to the bottom of the lung.

No, I'm not trying to start a debate. I had a bad situation on a fresh wick were the ends that I snipped basically probably had some lose fibers and they shot into my mouth. I'm not asking about safe versus dangerous, I've read that thread.

I'm wondering how you guys avoid the situation that happend to me with a fresh wick. Rinse it more? I'm not sure it was a one off...ive never had it happen before.

I would say Penelope would need a GGTS base. Ody has both 510 and GGTS. Why not Penelope?

The best thing that you can do is go to COV and do the whole "notify me" thing and just keep an eye on your email. There should be a preorder starting eventually for Penelope and Ody.

Get on the notify me list at COV. They just ended an advance order for Penelope parts but not complete units. Imeo has quite a few projects in the works and it will probably be at least 4-5 months before he makes another run of Penelopes so you might have to search for one in the forum classifieds if you don't want to wait.
