if i wanted to make my v2 a v3 are all the parts i need in esmoke? or will v3 upgrade be available for me to buy? and imeo what is the diameter of your new mech? could you tell us that without giving too much information away? just wanna make sure i have something that fits it perfectly
OK, my first cotton build is in the V3 now. Although I'm not a real cotton fan I must say...
Holy Vape! This performs really good.
I made kind of a 'spiral coil' from 0.25 Kanthal with 1.6 Ohms. Almost a micro coil but the turns don't actually touch each other. I didn't glow or burn the wire as per Imeo's advice. The cotton goes barely into the channels. Only to prevent flooding (I did once).
Excellent taste, excellent vapor production and excellent throat hit. And the best of all, I doesn't need a lot of power. Great performance on the (17mm) Nemesis Mini mod with a 14500.

This is all well and good.
But how about we get the Proteus finished, produced and sold (and in use)?
We are still waiting for the shorter mouthpiece (I think) for P3.
Now we are off on another tangent with another completely new concept.
Innovation is great - without a doubt. We need it.
But really - can we not get a realistic timetable for what's already being waited for?
Maybe it's just me being impatient...
And granted this is the P3 site...
A bit of prioritisation would be much appreciated - at least by me.
Sorry if this comes over as negative - but I really could do with delivery on what's already on the table...
I don't ask for (any) more detail on the new concept. But I think we deserve to know if it is going to delay, alter or substantially change things that we are already anticipating delivery of...

As far as I know from reading around the GG threads, it won't and doesn't affect the progress of Proteus. Imeo is just executing a new idea while waiting for the production of the electronic part for the Proteus. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong.

do you want me to make a mech Proteus Dont? Most of its pieces are ready. And it will be ready for its electronics too that you can buy separately.
No Beco it won't don't worry buddy. The thing with Proteus is that the chip is a new design and it's being made outside Greece. Imeo is waiting to receive all the boards that are being made then they will be assembled while the mechanical steel parts are made in the CNC's in Greece.
This stuff takes time and Imeo is making this new mod while he waits for the boards of Proteus as far as I know.
I'm sure he'll give us more info
Trust me he's more eager than we are to see Proteus finished
My understanding is that in any production, you need to make your machines work full time. Otherwise your business is in danger... lazy producers would just make more of past models....Imeo could do this but Imeo says: NO i can do something innovative even if this means more work! I think machines that do smaller pieces like the pene V3 short mode parts are happy to do those very soon

Jeff I think you buy a complete V3 at ESG. Not worth building out of parts as you need all except tank and cap I think. Look for some of Billypapa's posts from last week or two in Esmokeguru thread if not in this one.

How do you know "it don't exist anywhere in the world" if you "don't know what exists in the market? I would think that as a mod design maker it would be beneficial to know what exists in today's market.
Will there still be an electronic part made for JGG as some point as told? You did say after JGG no more GG mechanical constructions since the future is now all electronics.
Surely another choice in the GG mech arsenal isn't a bad thing????? Besides if you don't want another mech GG you don't have to buy it Xtreme but many people do. Imeo's plan is to concentrate on electronics to enhance the vaping experience however while we wait for Proteus boards to be made he found some free time for something new.
.. speaking about mech option in thin size, from my small experience, while imr 14500 loose pretty quickly any power, some 14650 li-ion batts are not so, so bad like the black aw (temon + precise simplicity 14). Nothing to compete with a 18650 MNKE , a sony4 or an orbtronic, but may approach the 'juice' of a red imr 18350 in its second part of charge.
ahhh, i was just sliding my cursor over gg devices and it was showing just accessories, when i clicked on devices it shows the whole setup, thanks, im gonna pick one up now. i thought v2 owners were supposed to get a free or relatively free ad pin, i see its now jumped in price and i never got one, was waiting to put an order together.
and what happened to cov? are they no longer carrying any GG? im sure this has been covered before but ive been away for a while
