I started out with 3mg e liquid with 70% vg and loved the flavors I have tried but the 3mg just isn't doing it for me. Still craving cigs like crazy no matter how much I vape. I tried going up to 6mg but the peppery burning sensation is absolutely horrible. My favorite juices are now so bad I can't even stand them. Is there any way I can reduce the peppery flavor without going down on nicotine. I've steeped, breathed, warmed, and waited 3 weeks and still can't stand the stuff.
vaping swagg sauce ejuice on a wismec indestructible. 0.3 ohm dual coil. Not sure if that makes a difference. Usually vape at around 40w but I've tried everything from 20w to 75w and even rebuilding with no "good" hits.

I think flavor and nicotine quality has a large effect on peppery last and harshness because I have been vaping 3mg Nic VG 70/30 PG since I started vaping about 6 months ago, and haven't stuck on one ejuice at all. I also go through juice fast so I have tried a lot of different brands and flavors all in the same pg vg and nic content. Some have been smooth as silk and others have been so peppery that I can barely vape them. I would definitely try a different juice though I do know that higher vg (less pg) and lower nic can help reduce pepperiness.

The problem could be our mouth rather than the nicotine. I get a peppery taste when vaping after eating cheese and onion flavour crisps (chips in americanese) Try drinking more water, and have a good sloosh, might help.

Pretty sure it's probably the nicotine. Nicotine gets a peppery taste as it ages. Cheese and certain other foods are palate cleansers and maybe you are picking up on the peppery as the cheese pulls off the the layer of dead cells off your taste buds.

Don't most people who sub-ohm usually vape juice no higher than about 3mg nic? I've seen many on here who've said that. If you're using 0.3ohm coils you're building, and trying 6mg nic...I'd say you're possibly causing the problem. Seems to me if you want to find out if that's it...use some of your 6mg nic juice in a tank with maybe a 1.2ohm or higher coil, and see if it's still too harsh. If it isn't, you've found the cause!
