Well my original thread was also closed, I think prematurely.
The tone of posts after I outed the vendor were drastically different and were mostly targeted at me. I can appreciate that, everyone has the right to speak their mind.
I did want to make a final post, I will do it here because my point is concerning all three incidents and not just my case.
If it had been just my case, I would not have outed the vendor. Period. I opened the original thread to garner feedback from other users and a lot of posters said to let it go, it's just a one off and just a hair.
However, once there were 3 confirmed cases (1 inside, 2 on the label), to me that leaves no doubt in my mind that the vendor is preparing juices in an environment where there are hair present (human or animal), absolutely no doubt. This opens a whole new issue of care that must be taken when handling and preparing juices. The fact that there are hair shows that proper care is not being given. What if the carelessness lead to incorrect ratios of nicotine level or other contaminants? This is the real issue. I hope everyone can see that. My individual experience is secondary, event though it did upset me.
At this point, many of the users PMed or asked me on the thread to name the vendor. I conferred with the other 2 customers that had this experience and felt obligated to let everyone know of our experience, so everyone can judge for themselves.
A lot of the posts accused me of blowing the issue out of proportion. I would argue that that's absurd. Exactly what did I do? I reported that a vendor sold me a bottle of
juice with a hair in it. Do I not have the right do so? Even if I hadn't found the other 2 customers, I feel I would be fully within my right to out the vendor. What else did I do besides that?
I don't intend on writing anymore on this topic.
Thank you everyone for your support.
