I have been reading/watching reviews while shopping for a new battery mod and have come across more than a few that say things like, "this thing hits like a beast". :?: No it doesn't. That thing is a battery case. As long as it makes a solid electrical connection and doesn't cause significant voltage drop, it's not a deciding factor in how hard my pv will hit. Reminds me of everyone that thought they played better basketball when they were wearing Air Jordans vs any other similar shoe.

What other things in the vaping world have really bugged you people?

One of my biggest pet peeves is when watching videos from the "non big guys," they won't have all of their material ready to rebuild, review, etc.
"Ok, so now I'm going to test this coil. Hold on, let me get my multimeter. Be right back."
And now I wait for you to get back from the garage while your dog comes into frame and just stares at me eerily.
Dude, get everything ready before you hit record.

Or when reviewers have intros longer than their video :glare:

Another pet peeve of mine that has been greatly discussed on ECF.
New users ask for something simple and/or something CHEAP. And then they get bombarded with people who apparently didn't read their request.
Example being:

New Member: "I'm looking for something I can use to test all these new juices I'm buying. But, I've only got a couple of bucks to spend, and I don't have the knowledge to build coils just yet, nor do I even want to fiddle with that stuff as of now, so no RBA suggestions, please. Is there something really easy I can use to taste test my juice?"
Answer 1: "What you want is an RDA like the IGO-L."
Answer 2: "Get an RDA to test juices. Some are really easy to build."
New Member: "Thanks, but I'm not interested in building coils or anything."
Answer 3: "Yeah, but still, get a rebuildable."

I despise that, too. I mean, if you are gonna make a video, EDIT the video....sigh. If you don't care enough about making the video look decent, I am not going to watch it. I don't expect a professional production, but don't waste my time. One I was trying to watch was a review where the guy got up to let his dogs in (or out) and was off camera for over a minute. C'mon, man...

I saw a video juice review in which the conclusion (hard won... took him a bit of rambling to get there) was "It's a nice vape. Can't really think of any words to describe it".

Not everyone is cut out to be a video reviewer. And even if you are, you don't have to 'review' everything you look at, whether you have anything to say about it or not.

I just keep my site free shipping.

Free shipping is great if you are buying one - maybe two items because I don't delude myself into believing that the shipping isn't part of the price and "free shipping" typically means paying a tad more than I would pay on a site that charges shipping; however, if I'm doing a large order - which I usually do, I can usually find better prices and pay extra for shipping than free shipping sites -- IMHO

People who ask for advice on device or topper purchases and give no specifics (such as vv/vw. mech. rebuildable or not, and price range) and then they get all bent out of shape when a $200 mech dripper is recommended because they wanted a regulated under $50 device.

If you ask for the best and give us no guidelines how are we supposed to magically know what you want. ;)

One of my biggest pet peaves has to be when ever a conversation is started about dripping, there is someone carrying on about their Rio. I am sure they are great but I am also sure they are out of my budget.
Sent from my intestines using my linear gas accelerator.

Speaking of "dripping"......... IF I understand the term correctly (IF) ...... I need to yank off a top ..... or a drip tip / mouthpiece and "drip" in a few - or more drops and then put it back together and take a "hit" or maybe three and then do it all over again. This may well be a misconception - however, I see it described enough to make me simply go, "no". All that work every single time would send me up a tree!

Now ..... "IF" I have it wrong and some "equipment" ( "MODS" and all those specialty words and abbreviations DO drive me up that tree) I may be missing out. Yet, i didn't start this vaping thing to take up time - even though I seem to be here on ECF far too much - I did ' it to get away from "analog" (another one of "those words" people from new folks to seasoned know-it-alls LOVE to use far too often) cigarettes!

IF "dripping" is sooooooooooo hot WHY the neck did most articles and even my local smoke-shoppe recommend a Kanger T3S or some variation? Am I REALLY missing out because there is a "dripper" that is as easy to use and maintain as the T3S I LOVE or is all this "dripping" stuff thanks to people who put up Ta'll Tube "reviews" of stuff they say, "manufacturers sent me"?

DRIPPING" ... is it THAT special? Maybe I need to read, "Dripping 101" instead of "E-Cigs 101"?:):) <Notice the "smile" - not a "growl"!;) And don't get me started on "WHY" I should buy from "Chappy The Chinaman" and his crew!
