Here is a Pet Peeve of Mine that I have been Seeing a Lot of Lately.

And that is when Someone Posts about how they Know 1 Person who Did something, so it Must be True for All People.

Examples:

My Wife's Brother's Uncle's Son drank Battery Acid when he was a Kid and it Didn't Hurt Him. So I don't Understand why People Keep Saying to Not Drink Battery Acid?

or

Nobody Cares if you Use an e-Cigarette in a Non-Smoking Area. I vape in the East Overshoe Wisconsin (pop. 143) Elks Lodge All the Time. And No One has Ever Complained.

Get an ego and ce4.

Cheers

Yeah there's one of those RIGHT NOW in the new member forum... says he just started vaping, but he's got a mech mod and wants to blow "huge clouds"... I didn't even bother posting a reply to that.

Andria

Edit: maybe i should just tell him to get the eBay batteries... that'll fix that. :D

Videos showing their cleaning process for PT atomizers that include hand washing and drying flavor wicks.
Experts telling folks with leaking tanks to remove flavor wicks, remove atty head gaskets.
Folks using the same nail clippers they use on their toes nails to trim wires in their atty.
"OMG I am having chest pains, can't breath, coughed up a lung". Well you must be allergic to pg, etc. See A Dr Not A Forum.

It does Kinda Boggle the Mind that a person would feel better taking the Advice of Completely Non-Trained Strangers than a MD when it comes to a Heath Problem.

Best Carto Tank? Sure.

Type of Batter for my APV? No Problem.

Coughing Up Blood and Numbness in my Right Arm?

Speaking of "dripping"......... IF I understand the term correctly (IF) ...... I need to yank off a top ..... or a drip tip / mouthpiece and "drip" in a few - or more drops and then put it back together and take a "hit" or maybe three and then do it all over again. This may well be a misconception - however, I see it described enough to make me simply go, "no". All that work every single time would send me up a tree!

Now ..... "IF" I have it wrong and some "equipment" ( "MODS" and all those specialty words and abbreviations DO drive me up that tree) I may be missing out. Yet, i didn't start this vaping thing to take up time - even though I seem to be here on ECF far too much - I did ' it to get away from "analog" (another one of "those words" people from new folks to seasoned know-it-alls LOVE to use far too often) cigarettes!

IF "dripping" is sooooooooooo hot WHY the neck did most articles and even my local smoke-shoppe recommend a Kanger T3S or some variation? Am I REALLY missing out because there is a "dripper" that is as easy to use and maintain as the T3S I LOVE or is all this "dripping" stuff thanks to people who put up Ta'll Tube "reviews" of stuff they say, "manufacturers sent me"?

DRIPPING" ... is it THAT special? Maybe I need to read, "Dripping 101" instead of "E-Cigs 101"?:):) <Notice the "smile" - not a "growl"!;) And don't get me started on "WHY" I should buy from "Chappy The Chinaman" and his crew!

Senile Non-Dripping Gravity-Fed Maybe Out of Touch Senile Old Man Don

Dripping atomizers give a great vape. Very pure, very flavorful. Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers (RDAs) are also some of the easiest rebuildables to master. Dripping is great for sampling juices. Your understanding is correct. You drip, you take a few puffs, you drip some more... rinse and repeat. And yes, it is a huge pain in the .... Some drippers attempt to overcome this by having deeper wells, but it is only slightly less of a pain in the ....

This is why people go on and on about their Reos. Reos are bottom-fed drippers. A small bottle of juice, when squeezed, pipes juice up to the dripping atomizer - one still has to squeeze to bottle every now and then to keep juice supplied, but this is worlds more convenient than having to aim over your drip-tip (and thus the name) to make sure the drops fall down the hole.

Trying out dripping is dirt cheap. Buy a disposable drip atomizer or a cheap rebuildable (if you are into such things) and give it a try. For $6 you can get a disposable dripper or a rebuildable as cheap as $9.

If you like the results, those funny-looking boxes called Reos might just be for you.

Edit: Okay, I just realized I answered a question posted back in January. I either need more or less wine. Not sure at this moment.

Didn't read every post in this thread but my biggest pet peeve goes something like this

" Hi, new vaper here. Only been vaping for an hour but I want to sub ohm and blow HUGE clouds. I've never built a coil before and don't know anything about battery safety or ohm's law. But I don't care. I just want to fog up everything!!!! Can someone recommend a good mech mod and a good RDA. Preferably something that will blow HUGGGGGGGGGEEEE clouds !!!!"

When I see posts like that I just shake my head at how stupid people can be

My pet weave is all the haters in this thread.. LOL.. JK
I hate the term analogs.. Such as, " I just quit my analogs yesterday and have been vaping for a day." After one day, the smoker who has been puffing cigs for last 30 years have already coined a new term after seeing it online a few times..
# is no longer a pound sign.. It's a hash tag now.. Thanks to someone on twitter..

# was never a pound sign.
It was, however the same key on the keyboard that produced £ in the UK, which is the pound sign.
It abbreviates "number"; it is therefore the number sign. It never abbreviates "pound".
It has many names, most of which make more sense than "pound sign".

... my pet peeve for the day. ;)

The term Analogue is bad and only relates to how cigarettes are old technology and PVs are new technology. It will therefore age badly. However it does make sense if you consider that analogue describes a continuous phenomenon and digital refers to a non-continuous one. Once you light a cigarette it continues to burn and will eventually burn out, during which process a smoker may sample the smoke on occasions. Whereas a PV only activates in discrete puffs as required.

That is not why the terms are used and it rather misses the whole point, but it does make them easier to bear.

As much as I would like to see someone have something explode in their face id prefer if they did it in a way that won't give my hobby a bad look lol

My biggest pet peeve is going into a b&m and their knowledge of vaping seems to have come off the back of a cereal box..if that
